Saint Pancras Corporation The Ancient Corporation of St Pancras, also affectionately known as The Wheelbarrow Club Today, over 330 years later, we still enjoy the same activities.

The oldest dining club in Great Britain, supporting our local community in and around Chichester. Established in 1689 in Chichester, our ancient corporation was originally founded to celebrate the coming of William of Orange to the throne. As a group of like-minded individuals, the corporation gathered regularly for social events, community events & fellowship. The Corporation is famous locally fo

r it’s annual dinner, Christmas walk and annual Summer BBQ, for those who can remember, the Corporation also used to run an annual Wheelbarrow race through Chichester city centre on a Saturday Morning!

We were proud to play a small part in this year’s Chichester Remembrance Sunday parade and service. Standing among veterans and friends we felt humbled when we reflected on the courage and sacrifice of those who served. We are all deeply grateful for their bravery and for the future they secured for us. Let us all carry their lesson forward with dignity and hope.
