Meet our TEDxChichester 2026 stage host Annelies James 🎤

We are absolutely delighted to introduce the incredible Annelies James, who will be taking to the stage as our official host for TEDxChichester 2026!

Annelies is a passionate storyteller, entrepreneur, educator and the founder of 22Midnight, bringing over 20 years of experience in videography, media, communications and creative storytelling.

As the curator and host of TEDxGosport, Annelies knows exactly what it takes to bring inspiring ideas to life. In fact, she played a part in inspiring our very own curator, Laura Pauley, to embark on the journey of bringing TEDx to Chichester!

With a background spanning teaching, coaching, public speaking, personal branding and media production, Annelies is passionate about empowering others, creating meaningful connections and giving people a platform to share their stories.

Her infectious energy, creativity and enthusiasm for all things TEDx make her the perfect person to guide us through a day of courage, curiosity and extraordinary ideas.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Annelies to the TEDxChichester stage on Saturday 14th November!

❤️ Collaboration over competition! ❤️

Our TEDxChichester speakers recently had the fantastic opportunity to sit down with three incredible speakers from last year’s event!

A huge thank you to .wardley, and for sharing their TEDx talks with us, followed by an inspiring Q&A packed with invaluable advice on planning, preparation and delivering a talk on the TEDx stage.

One of the things we love most about the TEDx community is how we come together to support, encourage and learn from one another. After all, it’s collaboration over competition, always! 🙌
A massive thank you to and their wonderful speakers for giving up their time to support our speakers on their own TEDx journeys.

🎥 And thank you to Alex at for capturing another brilliant session!

And of course for once again allowing us to use the brilliant space at The Nest.

The countdown to TEDxChichester is truly underway! ⏰

Another brilliant addition to our TEDxChichester 2026 team! 🎤✨

Meet Paula, our Speaker Prompt Coordinator, who’ll be playing an important role behind the scenes on event day.

Paula is no stranger to TEDx, having supported events across Gosport, East End and London, and we’re so pleased to now have her bringing that experience to Chichester.

On the big day, Paula will be following every word, helping everything run smoothly and giving our speakers another reassuring pair of hands behind the scenes.

We’re so pleased to have you on the team, Paula! ❤️

We’re incredibly proud to announce La Fish as an official Catering Partner for TEDxChichester 2026! 🎉🐟

A much-loved family-run business, La Fish has been part of the Chichester community for over 45 years, serving up delicious food and a warm welcome to generations of locals and visitors.

Their commitment to the community was recently recognised when they were named Overall Business 2026 at the Chichester & Bognor Regis Business Awards, making us even prouder to have such a fantastic local business supporting this year’s event.

And, of course, there’s the food! Our guests can look forward to enjoying some delicious La Fish favourites on the day.

A huge thank you to the La Fish team for supporting TEDxChichester. We’re so excited to have you on board!

Another little look behind the scenes at TEDxChichester 🎬

This time, our amazing stylist was in action, talking all things TED styling and sharing her expert tips with our speakers on how to look and feel their best when they step onto that famous red dot. 🔴

Everyone absolutely loved this session, and it was brilliant to see Vicky helping our speakers think about how their personal style can complement their talk and give them even more confidence on the big day.

A huge thank you to The Nest at for providing the perfect space for Vicky to showcase her skills and for our speakers to come together.

The preparation continues, the excitement is building, and we haven’t got long to go now… 👀

SOLD OUT — PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH TICKETS

TEDxChichester is officially SOLD OUT, and we’re delighted that so many of you will be joining us.

However, we’ve noticed comments on our Facebook post from people offering tickets for sale, so we wanted to make an important point:

Please do not purchase TEDxChichester tickets directly from someone you don’t know.

Unfortunately, when events sell out, ticket scams can happen. Someone offering a ticket online does not necessarily mean they have a genuine ticket, and once money has been transferred directly to an individual, there may be very little we can do to help.

We cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased privately, and we are unable to take responsibility for money paid to individuals outside of our official ticketing process.

If you see someone advertising tickets, please do not send them money without checking with us first. If you’re unsure about something you’ve seen, send us a DM and we’ll do our best to help.

And if you already have your ticket, that’s brilliant. We can’t wait to see you!

Thank you for helping us keep our TEDxChichester community safe.

We’re so incredibly grateful to and Duncan for leading our TEDxChichester group speaker sessions, alongside their individual one-to-ones. We’ve had fantastic feedback from all of our speakers. Everyone is loving the experience, learning so much and building new connections and stronger relationships with their fellow speakers.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Chichester Community Development Trust one of our fantastic TEDxChichester partners, who have kindly allowed us to hold our speaker sessions across their venues. Our most recent session, featured in this reel, took place at The Shed, showcasing the wonderful space it has to offer.

A huge thank you also goes to all of our TEDxChichester speakers for the time, energy and commitment they continue to give to these sessions and to the journey as a whole.

And finally, a massive thank you to Alex at for capturing all of this brilliant behind-the-scenes content and putting these videos together for everyone following our socials and attending this year’s event to see.

It’s incredibly exciting to see everything coming together as we get closer to the big day! ❤️
