Let’s Connect Contact information, map and directions, contact form, opening hours, services, ratings, photos, videos and announcements from Let’s Connect, Community Service, The Hub @ The Club, Hasland Club, Chesterfield.

From community events to dedicated spaces, Let’s Connect is a service designed to empower local groups across Hasland, Grassmoor, and North East Derbyshire, providing funding and resources they need to thrive.

Over the summer holidays, Let’s Connect Communities Together delivered a fantastic programme of family activities supported through funding from the Three Pits Small Grants Scheme. ☀️

From DJ workshops and Water Walkers to Nerf battles, non-contact boxing and minibeast sessions, local families enjoyed fun, creative and wellbeing-focused activities, along with free picnic-style lunches.

The grant funding also helped encourage residents to take part in the Pride in Place survey, which will help shape how £20 million of investment is prioritised across North Wingfield, Grassmoor, Tupton, Holmewood and Heath over the next decade.

There's not long left to have your say. The survey closes on 6 September, so take part today by tapping the link in the comments!

📣 VOLUNTEER WANTED – GRASSMOOR PAST & PRESENT! ⛏️🖤💛

Do you know Grassmoor well? Are you interested in its history, its people and all those stories and memories that deserve to be kept alive? 🏘️📸

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic local volunteer to help run the Grassmoor Past & Present page.

We’d love someone who:
✨ Knows Grassmoor and the surrounding area
📚 Has an interest in local history – you don't need to know everything!
💬 Enjoys chatting with people and can get conversations going
📸 Can share old photographs, memories, facts and interesting posts
👥 Can encourage local people to comment, reminisce and share their own knowledge
👍 Is comfortable using Facebook – including logging into the page, creating posts, replying to comments/messages and keeping on top of notifications
💡 Can think of fun questions and ideas to keep the page active and interesting

🏠 The great thing is, the role can be done from home, so it's a lovely way to get involved with the community in your own time.

We want the page to be somewhere people can say “I remember that!”, tag old friends, share family stories, identify mystery photographs and help us build a picture of Grassmoor past AND present. ❤️

You don't need to be a historian – we're looking for someone who is local, approachable, reasonably confident with Facebook and genuinely interested in people and the area.

🌿 Pilates is back! 🌿

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone back in class after the break! 💚

Have you been putting off trying Pilates because you’re worried you’re not flexible enough or haven’t exercised in a while?

If you’re living with:
✨ Aching joints
✨ A stiff back or neck
✨ Reduced mobility
✨ General aches and pains

…it could be the perfect time to give it a go.

There’s plenty of space to come along and enjoy a Mat Pilates class in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Pilates uses gentle, controlled movements to improve strength, flexibility, balance and mobility. Many of my participants tell me they notice a difference after just their first class, with even greater improvements as they continue attending regularly.

💚 Beginners are very welcome.
💚 All body types and fitness levels are welcome.

If you’ve been thinking about trying Pilates, this is the perfect opportunity!

💚🎉 £20,000 TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE!🎉💚

We’re so pleased to see this fantastic story featured in the Derbyshire Times! 📰🥳

Grassmoor & Hasland Youth & Children’s Support Group has been awarded £20,000 from the National Lottery, helping them continue providing fantastic activities, opportunities and experiences for local children and young people. 🌈☀️🎨🌳

And this is exactly why we love what we do at Let’s Connect 💚

Our team are here to support local groups and volunteers to access funding and develop their ideas, helping them navigate the sometimes complicated bits that come with running projects — from funding applications and administration to risk assessments, safeguarding, policies, planning, promotion and other practical or legal requirements. 📋✍️💻

We were really pleased to support this group with their funding application and help bring their plans to life. A special mention has to go to Dallas, one of our Community Outreach Support Workers, who worked closely with the group to develop and write their funding application, helping turn their ideas into a strong bid for support. ✍️💚

Her hard work behind the scenes played an important part in helping the group secure this fantastic funding, and we’re incredibly proud of her! 👏🌟

The volunteers, the group, the facilitators and everyone who gives their time and energy to make these activities happen all play such an important part. ❤️

And we want to give a BIG, BIG thank you to all those amazing volunteers who give up their own time, year after year, completely unpaid. 👏🥰

So much of what they do happens behind the scenes — organising, preparing, setting up, supporting families, running activities, giving ideas, solving problems and simply being there. They give their time because they genuinely care about their community. 💚

That’s what community is all about — people bringing different skills, time and support together to make something brilliant happen.🌟

We’re proud to be here to support volunteers and community groups, help them access funding and take away some of the barriers that can make applying for and delivering projects feel overwhelming.

Because when good groups get the support they need, they can concentrate on what they do best — making a difference to the people in their community.*💚🙌

So here’s a huge WELL DONE to everyone involved! 🎉👏

£20,000 of funding, a fantastic team effort, incredible volunteers and lots of exciting opportunities ahead for local children and young people. 🌈☀️🥳

We’re proud to be part of it. 💚

Children and young people in south Chesterfield have been enjoying a summer of free fun after their youth group secured a £20,000 grant via National Lottery – with the good news that it will cover their costs for next year too.
