What a summer it’s been! ☀️

Through multiple heatwaves, our incredible army of volunteers have been busy sorting through all your generous winter donations, safely stored at Big Yellow Self Storage

A huge thank you to Jo and all our amazing volunteers for making sure every item of clothing is ironed, ribboned and labelled, ready to be gifted to a family who needs a little extra support. ❤️

It may be hard to believe while we’re enjoying the summer sunshine, but we know the colder months will be here before we know it. We’re getting ready now, so we can be there for families when they need us most. We will be re-opening for donations and referrals from Monday 7th September.

👏Congratulations to our amazing fundraisers Collette, Carol & Sara, who on Sunday completed the Bike Chester (Iconic Cycling Events), riding an incredible 47 miles for KidsBank!

🚲 We are so impressed with these incredible ladies for their endurance and commitment in taking on such a challenge, and we can't thank them enough for choosing for fundraise for KidsBank!

Our huge thanks to every one who has kindly donated and supported them - together they have raised over £900!

Huge thanks to our amazing corporate volunteers for joining us in the Uniform Hub last week. We are so grateful for the teams from Target Group and Dayinsure for giving their time and helping us to fulfil so many uniform referrals.

Supporting over 430 children, with different sizes and colours of uniform, is no small task! 👕🎒 Your support has made a huge difference in helping us get these uniforms where they are needed most.

🚗And of course, a massive thank you to our incredible volunteer drivers, who are out delivering every single day. Our team are working incredibly hard to fulfil and deliver all outstanding referrals by the end of this week.

We’ve had so much fantastic support from our amazing corporate volunteers, who have generously given their time to help prepare all of our uniform referrals. Thank you to the teams from RSK, GBG and HSBC - we've loved getting to know you and your help has been absolutely invaluable — thank you! 👏

☀️It's a lovely time of year at KidsBank

As we prepare our seasonal changeover, our amazing teams from KidsBank Chester and KidsBank Flintshire come together to sort and iron winter clothing, as we get everything ready for the busy winter months ahead.
It's one of our busiest times of the year, and we're so grateful to the incredible volunteers who generously take on extra shifts throughout the summer – and even take ironing home to help! Your dedication and kindness never cease to amaze us.

One of the loveliest parts of the seasonal changeover is seeing volunteers from our different teams spending time together. Friendships are strengthened, new connections are made, and there's always plenty of laughter and conversation shared alongside the sorting and ironing!

KidsBank is about so much more than clothing and equipment – it's about people, community and the wonderful volunteers who put their love and care into every thing they do. Thank you - to each and every one of you.💙

Our school uniform project is well underway! 👕📚

Our amazing volunteers are working hard every day to process and deliver uniforms. This year, we are supporting 433 children with school uniform, and we are committed to ensuring every referral is completed and delivered in time for the new school term in September. 💙

If you are awaiting a referral, please don’t panic. Our team will be in touch to arrange delivery as soon as your uniform is ready.

For our families in Chester and Cheshire West, we would really appreciate it if you could please complete our anonymous uniform survey using the QR code attached to your referral. 📋 Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will help us ensure we are meeting the needs of families in the best way possible.

A little look inside our KidsBank Flintshire hub 💙

We are thrilled to share with you the complete installation of our new mezzanine - with thanks to the amazing support from Moondance Foundation. This has duplicated our floorspace, enabling us to hold both winter and summer stock on site for the same time, allowing for smoother operations throughout the year to support our families.

We’re incredibly proud of our team and the support they provide to families throughout Flintshire!
