Two teams headed out for a busy couple of nights last weekend. There were plenty of calls on the radio, first aid required, hugs and advice given plus over 100 glass collected on just one of those shifts! This weekend we've got two more teams heading out headed up by Anna and Hilary.

At Street Angels Chester we are blessed to have over 30 active volunteers, with more joining us every day. We are grateful for every second of time that they give up to help those in need, and we really couldn't do it without them! Thank you to each and every one of you, whether you've been with us for days, weeks, months or years!

This summer Cheshire Police are working with partners across Chester, including us, to ensure that Chester is safe for everyone to visit and enjoy. They recently put together this video which features one of our Street Angels teams, including shift leader Hilary, who did a great job of explaining more about what we do!

Two more teams headed out last weekend with two guests, Gina and Mark. This week lots of flip-flops were required and almost 80 bottles collected between the two shifts, it kept the teams busy!

Another great evening of training last night for our Street Angels volunteers with Marta from VIA. We heard all about the great work that VIA does in Cheshire West and Chester and learnt some astonishing facts and figures showing how important it is for us all to work together to keep Chester a safe place, especially at night time.

Last night we welcomed 9 new volunteers to our Street Angels team at a training evening. With individuals from all walks of life it was a really interesting evening chatting all things Street Angels!

Last week Street Angels were out on shift three times on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! With plenty of race-goers out and about they were busy shifts with plenty of lollipops and flip-flops distributed!

This weekend we will be out on Friday and Saturday night with shifts led by Anna and Hilary, keep an eye out for us and come and say hello, we are a friendly bunch!

Thank you so much to Chester Racecourse for choosing Street Angels Chester for the charity collection at the Boodles May Festival Ladbrokes Chester Cup Day!

Because of your incredible generosity, we raised a staggering: ✨ £3,228.52 ✨

Thank you also to the amazing volunteers collecting donations on the gates. Standing at the gates all afternoon is no small feat, we literally couldn't have done it without you! 😇

This total ensures we can continue to support people out at night in Chester who need an extra helping hand. Whether it's flip-flops, a lollipop, a chat or more, this money will enable us to keep on being there when you need us.

Race season has begun in Chester and this week our teams will be heading out for early shifts on both Thursday and Friday evening. It's looking to be a busy couple of shifts, with thousands of extra people coming in to enjoy their day!
