Today marks the end of an extraordinary year of service for the Lord Mayor of Chester, from the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you.

Sherin has given her entire year to the people of Chester, completing over 400 visits to local businesses, charities and community groups. Her energy, compassion and commitment have been felt across the city, and we have been truly honoured to be one of her chosen charities.

Thanks to her incredible fundraising efforts, alongside the generosity of our community, vital funds have been raised for both Chester Women’s Aid and Heath Youth Club. This support will make a significant difference to the women, children and families our charities help every day.

We shared a special moment with Sherin and our trustees, alongside our CWA leader Rachel — a reminder of how powerful community can be when people lead with heart.

Sherin, we wish you every success in your future endeavours.
You leave behind a legacy of kindness, visibility and unwavering dedication to the people of Chester. Your impact will continue to be felt long after your term ends, and we are deeply grateful for everything you have done.

We were honoured to be invited by the Lord Mayor of Chester to an intimate thank‑you dinner at the Town Hall on Tuesday 19th May, as her year in office comes to a close this week.

The Lord Mayor has worked tirelessly throughout her term, completing 400+ visits to businesses and community groups across Chester, and her dedication has made a real and lasting impact.
