Chester Civic Trust exists for the public benefit within the City of Chester. Our aims are: To stimulate public interest, to promote high standards of planning and architecture and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest. We make visits to other towns and cities both in the UK and the European continent.

We also receive visitors from interested parties from other UK cities and towns. Presentations of interest to members are also given in our Head Office at Bishop Lloyd's Palace. In addition there are a number of social activities each year. Membership of Chester Civic Trust gives individuals the opportunity to be informed of local issues and to be part of the lobbying process.

Frodsham Street toilets temporarily closed. The fact that these toilets are by the main disabled car park in Chester make this news even more dismal. At least the Council website lists some alternative facilities There is a link from. This page:

From 29 July, the Frodsham Street public toilets in Chester will be temporarily closed for one month as part of a multi-agency activity to address anti-social behaviour and crime in the area.
