This week at Scouts, things got blended in the best way 🍓🚴‍♂️

Our teams jumped on the smoothie bikes and powered their way through a mix of fun, teamwork, and a bit of healthy competition.

Starting with a few tried-and-tested recipes, they quickly moved on to creating their own wild concoctions — mixing fruits, veggies, and even a cheeky hint of ginger for that extra kick!
From pedal power to taste tests, it was brilliant to see everyone getting stuck in, experimenting, and cheering each other on.

Who knew fitness, nutrition, and a bit of creativity could taste this good? 💪🥕

No waste here! 🍓🍌♻️

After our recent camp, we still had plenty of fruit left over — and rather than let it go to waste, our Scouts put it to great use at the next meeting!

Everyone got involved making their own colourful fruit kebabs, and to make them extra special, we even added a drizzle of chocolate sauce 🍫

It was a fun (and tasty!) way to learn about reducing food waste and making the most of what we already have.

Great teamwork and some very creative combinations too!

What a fantastic weekend away at camp for our Scouts! 🌲⛺

We stayed in the beautiful yurts at Coalburns Wood, keeping warm with the log burners and enjoying the outdoors together.

Over the weekend, everyone got stuck into some brilliant activities:
🏄 Paddleboarding on the water
🚴 Mountain biking through Chopwell Woods and testing skills on the pump track
🏊 A fun swim session at Prudhoe Water World

It was great to see so much teamwork, confidence and adventure from all our young people – plus plenty of smiles along the way!

A big thank you to our leaders and volunteers who made the trip possible 👏
