“Now that the Easter holidays are over, it is time to record our appreciation of the efforts of Donna Brown in organising the successful youth activities and Fun day at the Brockwell Centre.

What may not be realised by residents is that most of the activities at the Centre are heavily subsidised by Grant funding. Over the years, Donna has been very successful in applying for, obtaining, and subsequently managing the use of, and accounting for, the expenditure of the Grants which amount to 10s of £1,000’s annually.

The community of Pelton Fell would be poorer without her excellent work for the young people and other members of the community. Long may it continue.

Colin Reynolds on behalf of the Pelton Fell Community Partnership who manage the Brockwell Centre.”
