Please visit my beekeeping stand at the Expo. Meet me in person and learn more about what we are doing at the Tree Bee Rescue Project. There will also be our own natural honey for sale. Take the opportunity to taste honey straight from the honeycomb inside the honey spinner.

Also, visit either web site treebeerescue.org or beesmax.org and on the front page see our bees from inside the hive – live streaming 24/7 365 – living on the wild honeycomb. Move the mouse over the live stream panel and download timelapse movies of the bees. You can zoom in and watch them moving around, just don’t miss out before they disappear into hibernation.

Beesmax is proud to have a stand at Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce's on 26 October 2022.

What a great success! Everyone came over to look at our new observation hive. Many thanks to my MBA team in the photo who came along to discover more of what I do. The observation hive has a colony of bees within it that is currently in the process of re-queening the colony. The observation hive wooden structure equates approximately in size to an empty woodpecker’s nest in a tree which is the volume of space a free living wild tree bee colony would normally occupy. This colony will stay and live in the observation hive, happy to grow and then hibernate in it during the winter.

BeesMAX has a sister company, called the Tree Bee Rescue Service. It had launched its webpage (www.treebeerescue.org) in December 2022. The image shown is a section form Kingston Business Magazine, advertising our services.

This new service is aimed at tree surgeons, or anyone responsible for tree management, to offer a collection of tree sections containing honeybees, in order to preserve their unique ecosystems.

This is of utmost importance today, as tree-living species are often destroyed somewhere in the UK nearly every week. Without the homes for wild pollinators to live in, the meadows will not be pollinated. Visit our website to find out more: www.treebeerescue.org

Beehives really do work well on rooftops. First Port residential flats in Surrey Queys London.

This video shows how we installed our beehives on the rooftop of some residential flats managed by First Port in Surrey Quays London in December 2022. Installation was easy really and the following day the bees woke up to a fantastic view of Canary Wharf in the distance.

George Proctor has been a real champion pushing this through the corporate system. Without George clearing all the hurdles this project literally may not have got off the ground. Encouraging the residents to join in one of our wellbeing lunch clubs where they meet the bees as a two hour experience is planned for later in the spring. I am sure there will be lots of fun trying on the specialist ppe overalls and for those who wish to get close up and personal to the bees then the activity becomes a real experience they will not forget and for all the right reasons.

Engagement with the residents is a vital part of our commitment to ISO14001 working practises. All we do here at BeesMAX is closely aligned to the environmental objectives of ISO14001. Our tree bee rescue service is another practical example of rescuing, relocating and saving an unrecognised natural asset usually disposed off. First Port will be hosting one of these honeybee colonies when they become available later in 2023.

Notice the Holly tree behind the conker tree dying from drought. The October blossom on the conker tree is really weird but there's a flowing river only 20 yards away. Has anyone else seen a confused nature messing up?

Managed honey bees are the most valuable pollinators in terms of agricultural economics. These hyper-efficient insects can provide pollination to virtually any crop.

We have been creating artificial trees for decades. However, few people may have considered whether could help the !

Man-made lack properties that prefer in their natural environments. But do fake trees make good for bees?
