This week we welcome a new county commissioner team to lead Girlguiding Gloucestershire for the next five years. Meet Frances (centre), who becomes our county commissioner, and Alison (left) and Sarah (right) who are our new assistant county commissioners. Our county has been led by teams of two for the last 15 years (at least), but as these roles are all voluntary, and with the ever increasing demands such as governance, legal compliance, policy compliance, financial responsibility, cake eating with our members, and much, much more, this new team of three will help ensure that the county continues to be the very best it can be for girls, young women and volunteers.
Thank you Frances, Alison and Sarah for taking on this new challenge. And thank you to Emma and Sue who finish their five year term leaving the county in a strong position for the new team.

The venue that 4th Churchdown Brownies meet at had a fire last week and sadly the group have lost all their resources stored there. Could you help support them by making a donation so they purchase new resources? Thank you.

Seren is a Rainbow in Ruardean and she has been raising awareness of blood plasma donation, which her brother relies on. Have a look at this video to see their story and see the Girlguiding volunteers from her group donating plasma. Seren was recently presented with a Girlguiding hero award, which is very well deserved.
