Enjoy the reserve this Autumn. Collect beautiful leaves with your children. Listen out for local and visiting birds. Work party meets at 10.30 in the orchard the 1st Saturday of every month. All welcome.

A jolly wassailing in the Community Orchard. Thank you to all those who took part. Let's hope the apple trees are bountiful this year.

At this time of year it's easy to hide away indoors but it's worth trying to get out into nature for a bit each day despite the cold, wind and rain. The reserve is a peaceful place to spend a little while listening to the birds, watching the clouds reflected in the ponds and to look for hopeful signs of spring emerging.
