So tonight is the night that myself and Gary Bowditch-Taylor launch Talk Club Chard; a space where men (18+) can come together to share experiences, support one another and put the world to rights. We start tonight at Chard Community Hub at Boden Street 6.30-8.30.
Talk Club is a UK men’s mental health charity helping men improve their mental fitness. It starts with ‘How are you? Out of 10? 1 being rock bottom, 10 being on top of the world. It helps you put a number on how you feel then try to explain why.
Each man takes his turn to talk while everyone else listens. There is no interrupting, no need to fix the problems of others. What is shared stays in the circle and men can remain anonymous if they wish.
We would both love to see any Men over 18 tonight looking for a safe space to talk and who wants to establish some new supportive links. We are here for you.

We're delighted to be the home of the new Talk Club Chard; a space where men (18+) can come together to share experiences, support one another and put the world to rights. The first meeting will be tomorrow evening, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm and will happen fortnightly.
