🌟 Exciting News for Our SEN Community! 🌟

Many of our TIGERS families have previously asked about earlier session opportunities, so we're delighted to share that Rascals Party & Play Centre
in Walton-le-Dale, where we host our TAAG TIGERS sessions, is launching a dedicated SEN Soft Play Session every Tuesday from 4:00pm – 6:00pm 😊

These sessions have been designed to create a more comfortable and inclusive environment for children and families who may benefit from reduced sensory stimulation and a calmer atmosphere.

✨ What to expect:
πŸ”Ή No music throughout the session
πŸ”Ή A calmer, quieter environment
πŸ”Ή Consistent and familiar staff faces where possible
πŸ”Ή A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
πŸ”Ή Inclusive play opportunities for all families

The sessions are walk-in and open to all children.

We're always pleased to see more SEN-friendly opportunities becoming available in our local community and wanted to make sure our current and past TIGERS members knew about this fantastic new session.

Lancashire TAAG will still be there, 2 Wednesdays per month. Please feel free to share this post with anyone who may benefit. πŸ’™

A bit more detail of why our brilliant volunteers Aileen and Gemma were recognised by the fantastic Room to Reward charity 😊

At Lancashire TAAG, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do, and we are incredibly proud to recognise two truly exceptional members of our team.

πŸ’™ Aileen Kavanagh joined us as a parent supporting her son and quickly became an invaluable volunteer, training as a rebound therapist and going above and beyond to support our young people, families, and charity. Her dedication, positivity, and willingness to help wherever needed make a lasting difference every single week.

πŸ’™ Jemma Parkinson has been part of the TAAG journey from the very beginning, helping shape the welcoming, supportive community we are today. From supporting families at sessions to managing vital behind-the-scenes tasks and inspiring the next generation of volunteers, her impact on our charity is immeasurable.

Both Aileen and Jemma embody everything that makes a great volunteer – kindness, commitment, selflessness, and an unwavering dedication to helping others.

Thank you both for everything you do. Lancashire TAAG is stronger because of you. ❀️
