Can you help our shop by volunteering a couple of hours a week of your time.

Did you know that volunteering can boost your confidence, increase self-esteem, and give you the opportunity to learn new skills. It also looks great on your CV. You don't need experience as we will train you all the way through your journey with us

We’re a friendly team and you can choose the tasks and days that suit you, from serving customers, to sorting donations, and creating eye-catching displays.

Best of all, as a shop volunteer you’ll help raise money that is vital to funding our work to achieve everyday equality for disabled people.

Wow !!!

We just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for all of your support.

We now have over 100 followers and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who likes, follows and shares our posts.

This allows us to spread the word more about the work we do and in turn help so many more people.

Fee has been volunteering with us at Scope Castleford for just over three years, and the welcome she gives to all of our amazing customers is wonderful.

Fee is usually found on the shop floor and we hear time and time again from you how fantastic she is and what incredible customer service she gives you.

Nothing is too much for Fee and she makes sure our lovely customers feel happy and welcome and valued. She always goes the extra mile.

Fee, it's such a honour for us that you have chosen to devote your time to Scope. Every day you brighten up the lives of staff and customers alike.

Please say a massive "Hello" to Holly.

Holly has been volunteering with us here at the Castleford Shop for almost six years, and we are delighted that she is part of our amazing Team.

Holly can usually be found processing all of the wonderful donations that you kindly give us. She works tirelessly five days a week sorting, hanging, tagging, steaming, restocking the shop and making everything look wonderful ready for you to buy.

Holly we are SO grateful for everything that you do. We are humbled by your hard work, devotion, kindness and commitment to the shop. Scope wouldn't be the same without you.

All of our amazing staff are joining with us and we are showing our support by wearing purple.

Please pop in to see us, we have some stunning items for you thanks to our incredible donors. We put out over 200 fresh items a day and are constantly restocking. Come in and see for yourself.

Here in our Castleford shop We currently have a 14 hour Assistant Manager vacancy.

Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by a dedicated, creative and passionate bunch of superstars. Our shops are located across England and Wales and each shop has its own character and personality. We focus on sustainable fashion and engaging with local communities. We lead our volunteers to deliver a great colleague and customer experience and we raise much needed funds to deliver an Equal Future for disabled people and their families
As Assistant Shop Manager of Scope's Castleford shop you will be able to use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different!

Today we are celebrating a massive achievement for our Castleford Shop 🥳💜

Everyone meet Lee, if your a regular in our shop you will have seen and spoken a lot to Lee he's always got a smile for every customer is always happy to assist where ever he can. Lee is one of our incredible volunteers at Castleford and today we are celebrating his success as he has just won our Scope Outstanding personal development achievement award.

So a little back story about Lee.
When Lee joined our shop he was very shy and preferred to stay in the back of house. Over the last few years he has grown in confidence and has achieved so much, he has gained an NVQ in retail knowledge, he has passed both of his level training in our shop and is now even helping to run our shop whilst we support others. He truly is a remarkable person and we are so lucky to have Lee on our team, giving up his time to help us achieve a fair and equal society with disabled people.
