29th Belfast Scout Group, Carryduff Part of Scouting Ireland. Over 200 youth members in Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rover Scouts. Scout Motto: Be Prepared.

Beaver Scouts: p3/p4
Cub Scouts: p5/p6/p7
Scouts: Year 8/9/10/11
Venture Scouts: Year 12/13/14
Rover Scouts: Age 18 - 21

All of our leaders are volunteers. They benefit from the opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of Scouting through experience and training. All leaders complete mandatory child protection training as well as having the chance to develop their own pers

Every muddy step, every steep hill, every β€œI can’t” turned into β€œI did it!” β€” they showed real strength and resilience on our hike at Castewellan Forest Park! Thank you Down & Connor Scout County for organising an another fantastic adventure!

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Venture Scout, Conor Norris.

Conor was a valued member of the 29th Belfast Scout Group, known for his kindness, friendship, and commitment to Scouting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his parents, Shauneen and James, his brother, Oliver, and his sister, Marie-Therese.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Conor’s family and friends as we share in their grief.

May he rest in peace.
