NISBTR is a charity (Registered Charity Number NIC101909) that is committed to helping unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Listed below are examples of our ethos but should anyone wish to ask us a question please feel free to contact us at any time. We are

only able to help full breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Sadly, our resources, facilties and finances are not large enough to include cross breeds. We rely on the support of foster homes to enable us to re-home the dogs in our care. We are not a physical sanctuary like Assisi or Dogs Trust - we do not have our own kennel facilities that people can visit (although on occasions we use outside kennels to help us out whenever necessary). Our dogs are taken mainly from three primary sources; Council Dog Pounds, sanctuaries and other dog rescues, and surrenders from owners. Our accounts are available for anyone, at any time, and without prior notice to view. It is extremely important to us that all of the money we receive from public donations is properly recorded and accounted for. Our chosen accountants are BBS Associates, 54 Abbey St, Bangor, BT20 4JB. We actively promote responsible ownership and work hard to change the misconceptions commonly held about our beloved breed.

After a lovely visit and catch up, I left Claire and Terri's house with a very kind donation to our charity and a much prized Terri Hooley's Good Vibrations Radio Show mug! But without a doubt the most wonderful thing I left with was the knowledge that AMBER, who is such a sweet little Stafford, is well on the way to being mended and is receiving all the love and care she needs from both her parents. Thank you so much for your hospitality Claire and Terri...it's good to see you still have your sense of humour Terri, and thank you for giving AMBER such a wonderful home 🐾🐶🐾

We had a very special visitor at Staffie HQ on Thursday of last week. A lovely lady called Janice came to spend some time with me to teach me Canva and help us update our forms. As if it wasn’t enough for Janice to offer her time free of charge, she also bought us some lovely treats and toys 🐿️🎾🦴 BIGGIE especially loved the chew treat 😋
