Surely there’s someone out there who could give Zach a home? 🙏💙

💙🐾 SOMEWHERE OUT THERE, ZACH’S PERSON IS STILL LOOKING FOR HIM. 🐾💙

And Zach is still waiting to be found. 💔

No suitable applications. No recent enquiries. Just a young boy waiting for someone to look at him and see more than his struggles.
Zach is only around 6–7 months old. He should be busy discovering the world, getting into mischief, playing with his favourite toys and learning that he is safe and loved.
And he still has all of that ahead of him. ❤️
Our boy has so many lovely qualities. Once he knows and trusts you, Zach is sweet, affectionate and loving. He enjoys a good game, loves chasing a ball and is a clever lad who really enjoys brain games. Give him something to work out and you’ll see that intelligent Collie mind in action! 🧠🐾
But Zach does find the world difficult sometimes.
He is an anxious boy and can be reactive towards men, so he needs a home that understands his behaviour is something to work with, not something to punish. He needs patience, consistency and someone who is prepared to help him feel safe rather than expecting him to cope with everything straight away.
We are looking for an experienced home, ideally with breed experience, where Zach can continue learning at his own pace.
❤️ An adult home or one with older, understanding teenagers.
❤️ Someone with experience of rescue or nervous do.
❤️ A patient, committed person who understands that trust takes time.
❤️ A home willing to celebrate progress, even when it comes in tiny steps.

Zach can live with other dogs following suitable introductions, and he can also live with cats.
We know he won’t be the right dog for everyone. And that’s okay. But not being the right dog for everyone doesn’t mean he isn’t the right dog for someone. 🥹💙
Imagine being the person Zach learns to trust. The person he feels safe enough to relax beside. The person who discovers his little quirks, understands his worries and watches his confidence grow.
You wouldn’t just be giving Zach a home. You’d be giving him the opportunity to discover a happier, more confident version of himself.
We cannot promise that everything will be easy, or that progress will happen overnight. But we can tell you that Zach deserves the chance to find out what life can be like with the right people beside him.
Please don’t let his anxiety be the only thing you see when you look at his face. Look at the young dog he is, the potential he has and the future that is still waiting for him. ❤️

💜🐾 LADY IS STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE HER A CHANCE. 🐾💜

Eight months old. Still just a baby. And still waiting for a foster home of her own. 💔

Meet Lady. A beautiful Collie x girl who needs someone willing to look beyond her struggles and see the young dog she could become with a little time, patience and understanding. 🥺❤️
Lady hasn’t had any suitable foster applications yet, and we would love nothing more than to change that.
At just eight months old, she has so much life ahead of her. She deserves the chance to grow, learn, explore and discover that the world doesn’t have to be such a daunting place.
What Lady needs most is a dog-free foster home where she can settle without the pressure of other dogs, build her confidence at her own pace and have someone in her corner who understands that progress takes time. 💕
She won’t be the right fit for every home, and we know that. But somewhere out there is someone who might be exactly the person she needs.
Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who understands that sometimes the dogs who need a little extra help are the ones who benefit most from having someone believe in them. 🏡💜

Wee Willow continues to work hard and is making so much progress ⭐️ The slightest movement would send her into a blind panic, running and knocking things over just to get away. Now, a couple months later, she is up on the sofa and becoming my little shadow from room to to room.
For the first time yesterday she also allowed touch and we finally got to ruffle those gorgeous, floofy ears!! 😍 Willow is a beautiful girl who in the near future will be looking her forever home 🏠❤️
Under all that fear she is so sweet, playful and of course, quirky! Watching her work so hard and overcome so much has been just amazing. Her resilience and desire to trust humans again is a beautiful testament to her lovely nature.

We are so excited for her future 💜🐾

🥺💔 BUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THE DOGS NOBODY WANTS? 💔🥺

We need to ask a difficult question.

What happens to the dogs who nobody chooses?

Where do they go?

What are they supposed to do?

How long are they expected to wait?

In rescue, we see dogs for who they are, not what they look like.

We see the potential in them.
We see the good.
We see the funny little personalities.
We see the need for love and security.
We see the reasons they struggle and the things they need help with.

And we love them all the same.

But what happens when nobody else sees it?

Some dogs arrive in rescue and the enquiries come flooding in.

The likes and shares are endless.

People want to meet them.
People want to foster them.
People want to give them a home.

And then there are the others.

The ones who don’t get noticed.

The ones who aren’t the right colour, breed, age, size or shape.

The ones with a little baggage.

The ones who need somebody to understand them rather than simply choose them.

What happens to those dogs?

Do they just stay?

Do they spend months in kennels?

Then more months?

Then perhaps years?

Do we keep telling them “your person will come” when nobody is even looking?

And if nobody is willing to foster them, nobody is enquiring and nobody is choosing them… where are they actually meant to go?

Because we cannot magically create homes where there aren’t any.

And a kennel can keep a dog safe, but it isn’t a home.

It isn’t a sofa.
It isn’t a garden.
It isn’t someone sitting beside you in the evening.
It isn’t waking up knowing you belong somewhere.

And this is where our hearts break for Ludo.

Ludo is a middle-aged collie who has been waiting and waiting.

He has some issues with handling around his hind end, so he needs someone who understands that and is willing to give him the time and patience he needs.

But beyond that?

He’s affectionate.

He forms bonds with his carers.

He gives kisses.

He gives paw.

He absolutely loves a belly rub.

He walks like an absolute gentleman on the lead.

And he can spot a plane in the sky from a mile away. ✈️

He isn’t some impossible dog.

He isn’t asking for the world.

He is simply a dog who needs somebody to see past the things that make him less “desirable” on paper.

Yet Ludo is becoming one of those dogs who is forgotten.

And that scares us.

Because every day he spends waiting is another day of his life spent in kennels.

So we are asking you a question.

If nobody chooses Ludo, what happens to him?

Where does he go?

What is he supposed to do?

How long should a dog have to wait before somebody decides that his life matters too?

We don’t have an easy answer.

But we do know this:

Ludo deserves better than being the dog everyone scrolls past.

He deserves somebody to choose him.

Not because he’s perfect.

Not because he’s easy.

Not because he’s the most eye-catching dog on the page.

But simply because he’s Ludo. ❤️

Please don’t let this boy disappear into the background.

Because the dogs nobody wants still need somewhere to go.

And they still have so much love to give.

💗 Clara is ready to find her forever home 💗

Clara is approximately 1–2 years old and is just the sweetest, most affectionate little soul. She absolutely loves her people and, once she knows you, she wants nothing more than to be close to you. ❤️

She is:
🐾 Very friendly and affectionate
🐾 Great with other dogs
🐾 House trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Booked in for her spay
🐾 A lovely little soul who simply wants to be part of a family.

Clara is a really small bundle of joy, always wagging her tail. She can be more nervous around men initially, so she may need a little time and patience to be able to build that trust slowly. But once she feels safe, her loving nature shines through. 🥰 She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she can finally settle, feel safe and be adored for the wonderful girl she is. 🏡❤️
