🐾 CLARA NEEDS A FOSTER HOME 🐾🧡

Beautiful little Clara is waiting for someone to give her the chance she so desperately needs. 🤍
Clara is a small female Collie who is a lovely girl, but she is a timid soul and the kennel environment can be a very overwhelming place for her.
What Clara needs now is a quiet, loving home where she can finally rest and begin to trust . 🥺🤍 A safe place where she can take things at her own pace, learn that people can be trusted, and begin to discover the happy, confident girl we know is hiding underneath all that worry.
She is good with other dogs, and having a kind, steady canine companion could be a real comfort to her.
For Clara, a foster carer isn't simply providing a temporary bed.
You could be the person who changes everything for her. 🧡
The role of a foster carer is so incredibly important for dogs like Clara. Once she is settled in a home environment and feeling safe, we can begin to understand her personality, her needs and the kind of forever home where she will truly flourish.
We need someone patient, kind and understanding who will give this little girl the time she needs — no pressure, no expectations, just love, routine and reassurance. 🐾

Thank you so much to Vicky Tweed and the Dog Friendly Everything NI page/ supporters for their generous donation of £100 for the rescue collies.

Collies can be overlooked and misunderstood and yet they are the most wonderful, smart, loving breeds. I’m a small home based rescue and take 1- 2 collies in at a time, along with my own. They generally spend a lot of time here before they’re ready and then find their suitable forever homes- and obviously take a lot of time each day. Every donation received helps me help one of these little guys and provide a stable home, training, exercise & stimulation that this high energy breed requires.

🐾💜 Willow update 💜🐾

We know this little lady captured many hearts recently when she was rescued by The Underdogs NI 🩵💚 and we’re happy to report she’s doing so well in her foster placement.

Willow spent the first week too scared to leave the bathroom and was terrified at the sight of a human 💔 with lots of love, patience and allowing her to go at her own pace, she is finally starting to realise that she is safe.

Willow loves being in the garden, playing with her toys and the other collies- and just following us from room to room, watching at a safe distance. Getting to this point has been an ongoing battle for her- she still panics and gets distressed, but we have no doubt this brave little fighter will get there, we are so proud of her 💜🐾

Freya went out for a p*e in our back field (as always) this morning....but hasn't returned, which is very unlike her. The other dog with her is here.

She is completely deaf and partially sighted so will be very scared and a little skittish if approached.

🩷 Cara 🩷

This little sweetie pie is arriving into us very soon. Cara is only 9 months old, so still just a baby and those big sad eyes just say it all. We can’t wait to love her little paws off 🥰

We will be posting more on her in the weeks ahead, but for now just a wee introduction! 👋
