Councillor Aaron Skinner - really pleased to announce that one of these courses will be delivered in Carrickfergus at Carrickfergus Community Forum.
Accessing ADHD support is incredibly difficult, so it's great to see this funding being used to provide practical help for people while they wait.
We've also been exploring additional funding opportunities and I'm hopeful we'll be able to announce two more full weekend courses, along with an ADHD parenting course, in the near future.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this support, please get in touch with A Safe Space to be Me - Emotional Well-being Hub for more information.

🧠 FREE ADHD support for adults across Northern Ireland.

We know how hard it is to be waiting for ADHD support.
The overwhelm.
The burnout.
The constant effort just to get through the day, without the right help in place.

👉 You’re not alone in this.
This programme is for people who are:
✔ waiting for an ADHD assessment
✔ trying to access support
✔ struggling with day-to-day functioning while they wait

💡 What this support will offer:
✔ Practical strategies that actually work in real life
✔ Support with overwhelm, burnout & emotional regulation
✔ Better understanding of how your brain works
✔ A space that is neuroaffirming, flexible, and not overwhelming

Funded by the Department of Health NI.
