The YMCA Carnoustie Regeneration Project is making great strides, thanks to the incredible time, effort, and dedication of our Committee and existing members. Our mission is to fully restore the building, creating a thriving community hub at the heart of Carnoustie, where local groups, clubs, and individuals can come together.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป:
Spanning three floors, the YMCA Carnoustie building will offer four versatile rooms available for community use, including a gymnasium, martial arts dojo, multi-purpose fitness space, and arts & crafts and meeting room. Additionally, the building will feature a kitchen, shower and changing facilities, and bathrooms to support a wide range of activities. While the gymnasium has remained active over several decades, the rest of the building had fallen into disrepair. However, through self-funded repairs and the unwavering dedication of the YMCA Carnoustie community, we have been able to make major structural improvements, bringing the building onto a positive path of regenartion.

Building works will be ongoing throughout 2025 as we continue our efforts to fully restore and improve the facility. We are excited about the future of YMCA Carnoustie and look forward to seeing the building once again thrive as a vital part of the community.
