Journeying with Year 6 as they prepare to move onto Secondary schools has ranged from meeting with small groups and large classes Im 16 Primary schools, to meeting groups of 20+ at a time when over 100 students from 10 Primary schools visited Kendal Parish church for a leavers activity morning and service organised by the church and Diocese team. Ive enjoyed travelling from Langdale and Hawkshead, to Windermere, Kendal and Grayrigg, out to Arnside and Storth. It’s been a joy to be joined by some church leaders for lessons too.
when asked what do you dream of being / want to be when you grow up my favourite response has to be “kind”! Also very encouraged to meet many children who dream of being farmers, vets, electricians, doctors, engineers, authors, artists, in the armed forces, architects, lawyers, influencers, builders, professional sports players and teachers. Please continue to pray for our young people as they enjoy their last week of Primary school and prepare to move to Secondary school.
