🔧 THE REPAIR FAIR IS COMING! 🔧

We’re very excited to be launching our Repair Fair at The Rebuild Site on Saturday 26th September, 10am–3pm!

This is a bit of a special one, as it’s our pilot event for a brand new monthly Repair Café coming to Rebuild. 🛠️☕️

The idea is simple: instead of throwing things away when they break, let’s see if we can repair, restore, reuse and learn from each other instead.

For our first event, we’ll be bringing together:

☕ Drinks & homemade cake
🧵 Repair Café: bring along your broken household bits and bobs and our volunteer repairers will see if they can give them a new lease of life. Repairs are offered in exchange for a donation
🪚 Tool sharpening: give those tired tools a new lease of life
🧩 Mosaic workshop: get creative using reclaimed and broken materials

Most importantly, this first Repair Fair gives us a chance to practice, learn and shape our new monthly Repair Café before it properly gets underway! So come along, meet the team, bring us your broken bits and bobs, have a cuppa and help us make something brilliant for Carlisle. Feedback always welcome too!💚

The Rebuild Site is open Tues - Sat 10-4 and Sun 10-1. Heathlands Industrial Estate, Carlisle, CA6 4RP. We sell a wide range of diy materials. We also have a paint shop, refill shop, a tool library and run skills workshops.
