🔥 OVER 100LBS LOST… BUT THAT’S ONLY PART OF KARL’S TRANSFORMATION. 🔥
When Karl first walked through the doors at Train to Thrive, he was carrying a serious injury and, understandably, he was nervous.
Nervous about what he could do.
Nervous about making the injury worse.
Nervous about whether the gym was even going to be for him.
So we didn’t rush him.
We guided him, adapted exercises where we needed to, worked around his injury and made sure his progress was steady.
The goal was to build his confidence just as much as we built his fitness.
Fast forward to today…
Karl has lost OVER 100LBS 🤯
Now, anyone who knows us at Thrive knows we very rarely talk about weight when we share transformations.
Because honestly, we don’t care what the scales say.
Weight is just a number.
We care about how you look, how you feel, how you move, what you can do, your confidence, your fitness and your quality of life.
But come on…
OVER 100LBS IS ABSOLUTELY WILD. 😂🔥
And when you combine that with everything else Karl has achieved, it makes the transformation even more incredible.
He’s running 5Ks.
He’s signed up for his first hybrid fitness event.
He’s fitter.
He’s stronger.
He’s more confident.
And he is absolutely UNSTOPPABLE.
But what makes us proudest isn’t even the physical transformation.
Karl is now genuinely part of the furniture at Thrive. 😂💙
He’s the first person to speak to someone new.
The first person to make someone feel comfortable when they walk through the doors nervous and unsure probably because he remembers exactly what that feels like himself.
He encourages people, has a laugh with everyone, works hard and gets involved.
He is literally the type of member we want at Thrive.
Someone who doesn’t just come in and train, but actually makes the community better by being part of it.
Karl hasn’t just transformed himself.
He’s now helping other people believe they can do it too.
From walking through our doors worried about what his body would allow him to do…
To losing over 100lbs, running 5Ks and preparing to take on his first hybrid event.
He’s nowhere near finished.
absolutely buzzing to see him achieve more.
