Exciting news! 🌟

We are proud to share that Claire, a people we support, will be taking the stage at the 2026 National Social Care Conference.

Claire will share her voice and perspective on day one, Wednesday, 21st October, with this year's theme being 'Times Like These: People, Pride and Purpose in Social Care.'

Last, but certainly not least, we are thrilled to announce the winner of our brand-new award category: the Chief Executive's Award for Outstanding Contribution: Sue Jones! 🏆

As our Director of Operations, Sue has dedicated nearly 30 years to Cartrefi, taking on a multitude of roles across the organisation. Ahead of her well-deserved retirement next year, we are honored to present her with this special recognition to highlight just how invaluable she has been to our community over the last three decades.🩷

What a night! Last weekend, members from across our co-operative all gathered for the same special reason; to celebrate the moments that happen across our community every single day. ⚡️

With 21 categories, plus our brand-new 'Chief Executive's Award for Outstanding Contribution', there was plenty to applaud. We kicked things off by honoring two of our core values, honesty and trust.

On Saturday the 10th of October, we held our second annual Cartrefi Awards evening at the Future Inn, Cardiff Bay. 🏆

We had a truly amazing night, coming together from across Wales to celebrate our people, championing each other’s achievements and demonstrating what it means to be part of our Cartrefi community.

Congratulations to all our winners and finalists, you should be beyond proud of what you have achieved.
