🌿 Want to green up your workspace AND support local wildlife? We are offering city centre businesses a limited-time chance to bring a Hedge in a Box right to your door — part of the Urban Long Forest project creating green corridors across Cardiff.

Buy One, Get One Free! Each package is £500 and includes everything you need to build a mini wildlife haven. Thanks to funding from FOR Cardiff, the first 6 businesses to sign up get a second one completely FREE

Each box comes with a wheeled wooden planter (1.4m x 0.4m x 0.4m), nutrient-rich soil, compost, decorative bark, native hedging plants and bulbs (bluebell, snowdrop, wood anemone, hornbeam), wildlife habitat boxes (ladybird tower + solitary bee box) bird feeder and bird bath and hand tools to help you care for it!

We deliver straight to your business and our team will be on hand to install it and show your staff how to look after it. No DIY stress required.

Placed around Cardiff Business Improvement District, these planters form a connected network of green spaces — helping wildlife move safely through the city and giving your team a daily dose of nature in what are often very grey spaces. Perfect for small areas and rooftops.

Only a few left so get in touch before 31st October and they will be installed this Autumn & Winter. Only 6 free hedges in total available, and they'll go fast. Ready to make your corner of Cardiff greener and wilder?

Email [email protected] to secure yours! 🐝🌱

Lush day at Bute Park on Saturday promoting the Urban Long Forest Project. Some great face paint including foxes 🦊 owls 🦉& flower designs! 🌺 Enjoyed by adults & young people alike!

Great bioblitz done on a hedge where we found 29 different species!
🌳 12 plants & trees
🐦‍⬛ 6 birds & mammals
🐞 8 Invertebrates
🍄 3 Lichens

Also great to meet so many dogs out on their daily walk. After a week of torrential rain (not complaining as the land really needed it!) it was great to have the sun out.

Thanks to everyone that attended!
