Autism Globe Mental Health Workshop with Athika Ahmed:

We will be having a women’s mental health workshop next week on Thursday 15th October with Athika Ahmed, an advocate for Womens Mental Health.

Athika will be sharing her experiences with mental health and will provide practical advice to support mothers of children with additional needs with their mental health and wellbeing.

Autism Globe Occupational Therapy Workshop:

Today we had an Occupational Therapy Workshop at the Grange Pavilion delivered by Lauren from the Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team.

Lauren shared information about the Occupational Therapy Service and helpful information about occupational tasks that parents and carers can support their child with.

We hope to provide similar workshops in the future for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Keep an eye out on our page for future announcements regarding our workshops.

Autism Globe Spa Day (30/9/26)

Autism Globe Spa Day at urbasba 💦:

Yesterday we had an exclusive spa day for the ladies in our group at urbasba which is located in the Cardiff and the Vale College.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and the spa had lovely facilities.

The ladies in our group had a wonderful time and enjoyed a well deserved break from their caring duties.

Thank you to urbasba for allowing us to hire the spa and for your lovely services.

Autism Globe Coffee morning with the Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team:

Hi everyone,

We hope that you are all well.

We have invited the Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team, who will be attending our upcoming coffee morning on Monday 5th October at Asda.

During this session, they will be sharing information about occupational therapy tips for parents and carers of children with additional needs.

Autism Globe Parent Carer Dinner 23.8.26 🥘

We had a wonderful evening yesterday at Yadgar Restaurant for our parent carer dinner which we typically host during the term holidays for the mothers of ALN children in our group.

It was lovely seeing the ladies enjoy themselves and the wonderful atmosphere provided by the staff at Yadgar Restaurant.

Thank you to the staff at Yadgar Restaurant for the delicious food and hospitality.

Autism Globe Family Trip to Puxton Park - 28/7/26

Today we took the parent carers in our group and their children to Puxton Park for our first ever family day trip. Everyone really enjoyed their time at the adventure park and the children had lots of fun exploring the different areas of the park.

The warm weather was great too! ☀️

Autism Globe Team highly recommend Puxton Park Tourist Attraction as a wonderful attraction for all families and families with children who have additional needs.
