Today is the start of , and this year's theme 'Do you see me?' is all about making sure people with a learning disability are seen, heard, and valued.

Love, connection, and meaningful relationships are something we all value.

With that in mind, this week, we would love to share 'Ask Cupid' - a brilliant short relationship advice video series co-written, and starring talented people supported by Innovate Trust.

All episodes were filmed by Innovate Trust's Nico Burgui, inside the much loved and much missed, in Cardiff. The series celebrates people with learning disabilities having the same hopes, dreams, experiences, and desire for connection as everyone else.

With practical advice and plenty of humour, Ask Cupid explores topics that affect us all, including:

Healthy and unhealthy relationship habits
How many texts are too many?
Dealing with jealousy
Overcoming first-date nerves

The idea grew from our monthly Relationship Group, a safe and welcoming space where adults with a learning disability can ask questions, share experiences and receive trusted advice without judgement.

As co-host Richie Horrigan says:

"We all want the same things."

This Learning Disability Week, we will be sharing a new Ask Cupid video every day this week, so keep an eye on our social media, watch, enjoy, and share!

Heddiw yw dechrau , ac mae thema eleni 'Ydych chi'n fy ngweld i?' yn ymwneud â sicrhau bod pobl ag anabledd dysgu yn cael eu gweld, eu clywed, a'u gwerthfawrogi.

Mae cariad, cysylltiad a pherthnasoedd ystyrlon yn rhywbeth rydyn ni i gyd yn ei werthfawrogi. Gyda hynny mewn golwg, yr wythnos hon, byddem wrth ein bodd yn rhannu 'Ask Cupid', cyfres o fideos cyngor perthynas byr gwych wedi'i chyd-ysgrifennu, ac sy'n serennu pobl dalentog gyda chefnogaeth Innovate Trust.

Ffilmiwyd pob pennod gan Nico Burgui o Innovate Trust, y tu mewn i'r yng Nghaerdydd.

Mae'r gyfres yn dathlu'r ffaith bod gan bobl ag anabledd dysgu yr un gobeithion, breuddwydion, profiadau, ac awydd am gysylltiad â phawb arall.

Gyda chyngor ymarferol a digon o hiwmor, mae Ask Cupid yn archwilio pynciau sy'n effeithio ar bob un ohonom, gan gynnwys:

Arferion perthynas iach ac afiach
Faint o destunau sy'n ormod?
Delio â chenfigen
Goresgyn nerfau dyddiad cyntaf

Tyfodd y syniad o'n Grŵp Perthynas misol, lle diogel a chroesawgar lle gall oedolion ag anabledd dysgu ofyn cwestiynau, rhannu profiadau a derbyn cyngor dibynadwy heb farn.

Fel y dywed y cyd-westeiwr Richie Horrigan:

"Rydyn ni i gyd eisiau'r un pethau."

Yr Wythnos Anabledd Dysgu hon, byddwn yn rhannu fideo Ask Cupid newydd bob dydd yr wythnos hon, felly cadwch lygad ar ein cyfryngau cymdeithasol, gwylio, mwynhau, a rhannu!

As we celebrate , we want to share a heartfelt thank you to our sister charity, Skills & Volunteering Cymru - SVC , and the dedicated volunteers on their Befriending project.

This project matches volunteers with adults we support across Cardiff, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and the Vale of Glamorgan based on shared hobbies and interests. Spending just a few hours a week together, plays a vital role in building confidence, fostering genuine connections, and reducing isolation.

To every volunteer who generously gives their time to bring companionship and support to our community: thank you. Your dedication makes a profound difference. 💙

Wrth i ni ddathlu , rydym am rannu diolch o galon i'n chwaer elusen, Skills & Volunteering Cymru - SVC , a'r gwirfoddolwyr ymroddedig ar eu prosiect Cyfeillio.

Mae'r prosiect hwn yn paru gwirfoddolwyr ag oedolion rydyn ni'n eu cefnogi ledled Caerdydd, Rhondda Cynon Taf a'r Fro yn seiliedig ar hobïau a diddordebau a rennir. Mae treulio ychydig oriau yr wythnos gyda'i gilydd, yn chwarae rhan hanfodol wrth adeiladu hyder, meithrin cysylltiadau gwirioneddol, a lleihau ynysu.

I bob gwirfoddolwr sy'n rhoi eu hamser yn hael i ddod â chwmnïaeth a chefnogaeth i'n cymuned: diolch. Mae eich ymroddiad yn gwneud gwahaniaeth mawr. 💙

Moving out of the family home is a massive step at any age, especially when it’s a home you’ve known for 50 years.

This month we are sharing the story of Justyn’s positive transition into supported living in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

From belting out 80s and 90s karaoke classics in his room and snooker at the local pub. To joining fishing trips and fully embracing daytime disco and live music, Justyn has truly embraced his new chapter.

As Justyn puts it: "I absolutely love it here."

Mae symud allan o gartref y teulu yn gam enfawr ar unrhyw oedran, yn enwedig pan mae'n gartref rydych chi'n ei adnabod ers 50 mlynedd.

Y mis hwn rydym yn rhannu stori trawsnewidiad cadarnhaol Justyn i fyw â chymorth yn Rhondda Cynon Taf.

O greu clasuron karaoke o'r 80au a'r 90au yn ei ystafell a snwcer yn y dafarn leol. I ymuno â theithiau pysgota a chofleidio disgo a cherddoriaeth fyw yn ystod y dydd yn llawn, mae Justyn wedi cofleidio ei bennod newydd yn wirioneddol.

Fel y dywed Justyn: "Rwy'n ei garu yma."

We are delighted to have received funding from WCVA CGGC Volunteering Wales Main Grants scheme to support adults with learning disabilities to become heritage and environmental champions.

This funding ensures that our brilliant volunteers can continue their amazing work at the Secret Garden within Sain Ffagan: Amgueddfa Werin Cymru - St Fagans National Museum of History . We will also be heading out across the Vale of Glamorgan to launch new projects focused on wildlife conservation, plant care, and exploring our natural heritage.

Thank you, WCVA. Let the next chapter begin!

We are thrilled to officially launch Closing The Gap, a new 12 month pilot project designed to empower adults with disabilities through accessible technology.

We know that 'one size fits all' doesn't work when it comes to digital skills. That’s why this project focuses on the person first, not just the technology and the devices. From personalised assessments to ongoing support, we are helping the people we support in Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, and Rhondda Cynon Taf build the confidence to stay safe and live more independently.

Closing The Gap is supported by the Welsh Government’s Digital Inclusion Wales Cynhwysiant Digidol Cymru Innovation Grant and delivered in partnership with FCHA / First Choice Housing Association .

The interest and support has been fantastic. All spots are now filled, and we can’t wait to share the journey with you!

You can read more about the project on our website, and by following this article link: https://bit.ly/4udvqVs

Rydym wrth ein bodd i lansio Closing The Gap yn swyddogol, prosiect peilot 12 mis newydd sydd wedi'i gynllunio i rymuso oedolion ag anableddau trwy dechnoleg hygyrch.

Rydym yn gwybod nad yw 'un maint i bawb' yn gweithio o ran sgiliau digidol. Dyna pam mae'r prosiect hwn yn canolbwyntio ar y person yn gyntaf, nid dim ond y dechnoleg a'r dyfeisiau. O asesiadau wedi'u personoli i gymorth parhaus, rydym yn helpu'r bobl rydyn ni'n eu cefnogi yng Nghaerdydd, Bro Morgannwg a Rhondda Cynon Taf i adeiladu'r hyder i gadw'n ddiogel a byw'n fwy annibynnol.

Mae Closing The Gap yn cael ei gefnogi gan Grant Arloesedd Digital Inclusion Wales Cynhwysiant Digidol Cymru Llywodraeth Cymru ac fe'i cyflwynir mewn partneriaeth â FCHA / First Choice Housing Association

Mae'r diddordeb a'r gefnogaeth wedi bod yn wych. Mae'r holl leoedd bellach wedi'u llenwi, ac ni allwn aros i rannu'r daith gyda chi!
