The latest update from the Recovery Taskforce reports on pensions that have been put into payment and the numbers of pension quotes currently being issued.

In the next session of parliament, the public accounts committee and the public administration and constitutional affairs committee are expected to hold a further joint session to take evidence on the Civil Service Pension Scheme crisis under Capita's administration.

1 May is a day to come together and celebrate workers’ unity and strength.

This May Day also marks the 100 year anniversary of the 1926 General Strike, when millions of workers stood together in solidarity for fair pay, safe conditions and trade union rights. The centenary is a powerful reminder of the strength of collective action, and the role unions play in defending working people.

Today is International Workers’ Memorial Day, dedicated to remembering those killed or injured by unsafe work and renewing the commitment to preventing future tragedies.

124 people lost their lives at work last year.

The theme this year focuses on psychological hazards and mental health risks, looking at the often overlooked impacts of stress, anxiety, burnout, bullying, and harassment.
