✨ Children's Books Wanted! ✨

We're on a mission this year to gift a free book to every school child who visits us on a school trip, as part of the National Year of Reading. This will be approximately 3400 children. As you can imagine, we are always on the hunt for more books to feed these hungry bookworms 🐛

📗 100% of our books are donated to us so we rely on kind and generous people to keep our bookshop running and well-stocked. If you have any books gathering dust, we would be very grateful to have them for our book team!

We're open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays - donations are more than welcome from 10-3. Thank you! 📚️💚

Tonight we were thrilled to present our Julie with a cheque for The Hub Cafe - our charity for last year.
We raised £1480.37 for the charity, which offers many services for the Canterbury community, including community cafe, food parcels, advice, support, well-being nourishment, clothes bank and so much more 💚✅♻️🌍

Decluttering? Need an excuse to move out your unloved items? Be it an old lamp, jigsaws, guitar, picture frames, toys, clothes, teapot etc etc.
The random stuff we have had donated and someone else has taken saying: ‘I’ve always wanted to try that’ or ‘that’s just what I need’.
(Eg A cheese making kit; a drum kit)

So, let your unloved items free and bring them along! Look around - you’ll be surprised what you don’t use ☺️

Also, come along and see what we have… you might be the new owner of something you need; something you didn’t think you wanted; something you just would like!

Everything is FREE but if you’d like to make a donation, monies raised will go to the charity :The Hub Cafe Canterbury.

Monday night was our Christmas craft evening and we made various different Christmas bits.

A lovely Christmassy evening 💚
