Apparently it's summer. 🤔It's hard to be sure though when we look out at the rain - again!

Never mind, we've got a summer trip to look forward to😀We're planning a trip to the Devil's Porridge museum and popping in to Gretna Green on the way back. Details on the image.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the final lunch club of the season. We loved seeing you all and hope to see you again soon - perhaps a summer bus trip?

And massive thanks to everyone who cooks, serves, washes up and organises the lunches. We couldn't do it without you. Especially Anne & Jimmy Wightman, Cath, Tony & Amanda Mattinson, Laraine Wotherspoon, Martina Molenaars, Pauline Greener, Karen Pearson and Kirsteen Davies. THANK YOU!!

The lunch club will be back in October. We look forward to seeing you then.

Summer is coming! Just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend.

But sadly it means that Tuesday is the last lunch club of the season. We hope to see all the regulars there and, as ever, we'd love to welcome any newcomers.

Happy Easter! We hope everyone has a lovely weekend - despite the weather.☔️
The lunch club will be back on Tuesday with a new menu of soups and puddings. We've not tried onion soup before so it'll be interesting to see if folks like that one.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday.

Spring has sprung! The newborn lambs are sheltering from the storm and our super lunch club chefs are getting restless. They've threatened to strike if they have to cook soup again this week. No matter that everyone loves their soup!

But it's important to keep them happy, so never mind Good Friday or Ash Wednesday it's going to be Surprise Tuesday! No soup but something equally delicious.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Are you heading to the Soup Kitchen in the hall on Saturday? Please have a look at our Books & Plants Table while you're there. Our members and friends have donated books, jigsaws and plants for others to enjoy.

If you fancy anything please take it home. There's no charge but if you'd like to make a donation every penny will go towards the running costs of the Tuesday Lunch Club.

Oh dear, oh dear. March is a five week month. We've only got enough soup for four weeks. What can we do? I guess we'll have to think of something special for the final week of the month🤔
