On Monday 20th November 2017, at the age of 41, Suzanne was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin B-Cell Lymphoma - a type of blood cancer that affects white blood cells lymphocytes. Suzanne went through intensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment over a period of 6 months, all delivered, supported by and cared for by the Beatson Cancer Charity. Team BePositive was b

orne out of Suzanne’s incredibly positive frame of mind throughout treatment and the hugely positive impact it had on all her family and friends, which continues to this day. On Monday 14th of May 2018, Suzanne was officially in remission - her blood type, B positive.

Hello! It has been a wee while since our last update, but we are reaching out once again to kindly ask for any support you can offer to Team BePositive!

This coming Friday, 13th March, we will be taking on the spectacular Supernova 5K at The Kelpies. This unique night-time event promises an enchanting blend of glowing lights and the stunning backdrop of the iconic Kelpies sculptures, creating a magical atmosphere for us.

The team for this event consists of Bryan, Amelia, Nuala, and Suzanne, who will be joining as our Chief Cheerleader! As always, our team is running to promote and raise funds for Beatson Cancer Charity, while also spreading positivity and wellbeing.

Please support us in any way you can as we light up the night for the Beatson!
