A big thank you to all our Street Pride volunteers who were out and about this morning litter picking and helping to keep our village looking lovely! 💚🌿

It was wonderful for some of our volunteers to come together afterwards at St Mary’s Church for A Celebration of Harvest, Flowers and Community and to hear fellow volunteer David Edwards share the history of the church.

There’s still plenty of time to pop along today, this evening and tomorrow, with a whole host of events to enjoy alongside the beautiful floral exhibition. Do go along and support this lovely community celebration! 🌸⛪

A special thank you Sally Graham for all her hard work in bringing together such a fantastic community event. 💐

🌻🍂 Doddington Street Pride are proud to be part of A Celebration of Harvest, Flowers and Community at St Mary’s Church, Doddington this weekend.

We’ve created a floral display alongside arrangements from lots of local community groups, a lovely way to celebrate our village and the community spirit that brings us together. 💚

Please come along, enjoy the exhibition and join in the harvest celebrations. With refreshments, talks, music and more, there’s plenty to enjoy throughout the weekend!

🌿💚 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers 💚🌿

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, our volunteers have been out giving up their own time to help keep Doddington clean — and we are incredibly grateful 👏

But did you know just how much litter is dropped in our village?

Each year, our volunteers collect enough rubbish to fill bags that would stretch all the way from Wimblington Road, through the High Street, along Newgate Street and all the way to Primrose Hill 😳

That’s the reality of what’s being left behind — and the difference our volunteers are making every single month.

Imagine if we could reduce that… if everyone did their bit. 💚
