🏹 The other day, our Cubs headed over to Dernford Nook to take part in the District Archery Competition.

It was a fantastic day of competition, with Cub Packs from across the district battling it out to see who could come out on top!

We're incredibly proud of our Cubs, who managed to take 2nd place overall against the other Cub Packs! And a special mention also goes to Marcus, who finished in 3rd place individually and brought home a bronze medal!

Thank you to all those that organised and made the event possible 🏹🎯

🛍️ Tonight's Jumble Collection! 🛍️
Typically, the weather has decided to turn a little wet 🌧️, but that won't stop us! Our Scouts & Explorers will still be out collecting your generous donations this evening.

Please make sure your donations are outside in a visible and accessible location by 6:30pm, with either our yellow flyer or a note attached so we know it's for our jumble sale.

If you would prefer to drop off your items, you're more than welcome to bring them along to Milton Community Centre from 7pm.

Unfortunately, we can't accept large items or anything age-restricted.

A huge thank you to everyone who donates, your generosity really does make a difference! ❤️

We look forward to seeing you all at the sale tomorrow!

🧹 ONE WEEK TO GO! 🧹
In just one week’s time, our Scouts & Explorers will be out and about collecting your generous donations for our Jumble Sale! 🎉

On Friday 18th September from 6:30pm our young members will be out around Milton gathering your donations and helping bring them back to Milton Community Centre, ready for the big sale the following day.

So, this week is the perfect time to:
🗄️ Clear out those cupboards
🧹 Sort that drawer you’ve been putting off
👕 Have a shake-up of the wardrobe
📦 Clear out those items you no longer need

If you're not in Milton or would prefer to drop off your donations, you can do! Pop along to the community centre from 7pm - 8pm on the Friday.

If they’re in good, usable condition, we’d love to turn your unwanted items into funds for our group. (Unfortunately we can't accept any large items)

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 And just like that, our 2026 Summer Camp has come to an end! We've had an amazing week down in Swansea, visiting Silver Cross Scout Campsite and making memories that we're sure will last a long time!

From Mountain Boarding, Archery and Surfing to Day Hikes, Muddy Assault Courses, Cooking Challenges, Beach Days and so much more, our Scouts & Explorers have thrown themselves into every activity and adventure. It truly has been a memorable camp.

A massive shout out to all of our leaders who attended and helped make this camp possible. Without your time, effort and dedication, our young members wouldn't be able to experience these adventures and create the memories they have this week.

Thank you to everyone who made 2026 Summer Camp one to remember!

Now... who's ready for the next adventure?! 👀
