🎓It’s graduation season here in Cambridge - and we’re sending warm wishes to our Kazakhstani students who are receiving their Cambridge diplomas! 🇰🇿✨
A special heartfelt congratulations goes to our Dr Aigerim Kopeyeva, who has completed her PhD in Education with an outstanding dissertation “Beyond the scores: A critical realist study of the causes of regional educational inequality in Kazakhstan” (Open Access download link: https://www.repository.cam.ac.uk/handle/1810/385831). Her research was recognised as ‘brilliant’ by her examiners and highly praised by Lord Simon Woolley, Principal of Homerton College.
Aigerim’s dedication, intellect, and commitment to social justice in education have not only made her a standout scholar, but also a true inspiration to the entire Kazakhstani student community in Cambridge and beyond.
We are so proud of her achievements and the impact her work will have for education policy in Kazakhstan. We wish Aigerim all the very best in her next chapter - and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way!
