Great night, one to be remembered. Thank you to Sherman and Nicole for the food, to Kearon and Dian for the music, to all the staff and owner of the Devonshire Arms. To Lucy and her family the former family of the Devonshire Arm and Trevor former landlord, to Cathy for your support and Eddie Stadnik and everyone who came to make it a night to remember.

A look back on the first Windrush Event in Cambridge we held last year.

The Windrush Tea Party was a vibrant celebration honoring the contributions of the Windrush Generation and their descendants. Held in a warm, community-focused atmosphere, the event featured live steel pan music, adding a lively Caribbean rhythm to the occasion. Musicians, dressed in colorful tropical shirts, created a joyful ambiance that resonated with the crowd.

Guests, elegantly gathered around tables adorned with tiered trays of cakes, tea, and fresh fruit, enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea. The event encouraged socializing across generations and backgrounds, with attendees smiling, engaging in conversation, and celebrating the legacy of Caribbean culture in the UK.

The event served not only as a festive gathering but also as a moment of reflection, honoring resilience, community spirit, and the cultural richness brought by the Windrush Generation.
