With five newly installed bleed control kits across Calne, Calne Town Council have partnered with Bin the Blade to deliver Control the Bleed training sessions at Colemans Farm Community Centre.

These free sessions will teach you simple, practical skills that could help save a life by controlling severe bleeding until emergency services arrive.

Whether you're a member of the public, a parent, coach, volunteer or local business owner, this hands-on training will give you the confidence to respond in a bleeding emergency when every second counts.

Thursday 13th August:

4.30pm-5.30pm - 20 places

5.30pm-6.30pm - 20 places

6.30pm-7.30pm - Rise Trust youth session, please speak with your youth worker to sign up

Recently, Calne Town Council installed five bleed kits in town, which are installed at:
𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 (accessible within the entrance hall)
𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲
𝗕𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 - 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹
𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲
and
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱.

We also have 3 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗯𝘀, which I have now added. You can find them in the item list on the left side of the map. Each hub is marked with a red circle and includes the address, a photo of the building, and the official poster with full details.
