🐴🌾 TEDDY & FRIENDS TAKE A DETOUR TO DIDDLY SQUAT 🌾🐴

When you take a little detour to Diddly Squat on the way to the Longines Global Champions Tour… and somehow Teddy & Friends end up on their social media! 😂🐴

Our little Teddy has been capturing the hearts of so many wherever he goes, and this year he has even become a BBC Make a Difference Award finalist. 💙

From care homes and hospices, to BBC studios, and now a little unexpected appearance at Diddly Squat, this tiny horse just keeps taking us on the most incredible adventures.

We never quite know where Teddy is going to take us next…

But now there’s only one question left…

Can we get Teddy to meet Lisa? 👀🐴💙

🤍 WHEN YOU SEE YOUR HORSES ON THE BIG SCREEN 🤍

There are moments that catch you completely off guard.

Standing there and suddenly seeing your horses appear on the screen… it’s incredibly overwhelming.

These are the same horses we tuck in at night, muck out for, worry over, laugh at, and love beyond words.

We know them covered in mud, galloping through their fields and simply being horses.

And then you see them up there, representing everything Lunar Eclipse stands for, and for a moment you realise just how far their little hoofprints have travelled.

But it wasn’t just our horses up there.

It was our team too.

The people who give so much of themselves to this little organisation. The people behind the scenes, beside the horses, sharing the same belief in everything we do.

Today I stood cuddled into Moray, tears running down my face, watching our horses and our team on that big screen.

And for just a moment, I stopped.

I looked at what we have all created together.

Our horses. Our people. Our Hoofgang. Our team.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.

And maybe I never want to.

So incredibly proud of every single one of them. 🐴🤍

🎙️🐴 WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES… 🐴🇬🇧

Last weekend Teddy was casually walking into the BBC Radio Scotland studios…

This weekend, he’s in London at the Longines Global Champions Tour. 🤍

And somewhere in between all of that, he is still just Teddy.

The little horse who has absolutely no idea he is a BBC Make a Difference Award finalist or that his tiny hoofprints are finding their way into so many hearts.

Last weekend, somebody at the BBC had no idea Teddy was about to step into the studio during Cherene’s interview.

The door opened…

In walked Teddy.

And the reaction was everything. 😂🐴🤍

Teddy, of course, behaved as though wandering into a BBC studio was the most normal thing in the world.

And now, just seven days later, those same little hooves are walking around London as part of another incredible adventure.

BBC Radio Scotland one weekend.
Longines Global Champions Tour London the next.

Not bad going for a three-year-old little horse from Scotland. 🥹🤍

Here’s a little sneaky peek at that BBC moment…

Just watch their face when Teddy walks in. 👀😂

✨ Day One. London. Longines Global Champions Tour. ✨

For weeks we’ve been quietly filming behind the scenes, capturing moments that words alone could never quite reach.

Today marks Day One in London, and whilst there is so much still to come, we wanted to share a tiny glimpse into the heart of what we do.

This has never been about horses standing for photographs.

It’s about the pause before someone reaches out to touch a soft nose.
The quiet breath that steadies anxious hands.
The smiles that appear without warning.
The connections that ask for nothing, yet somehow give everything.

Every step these incredible members of the Hoofgang® take carries kindness, compassion and hope.

This is only the beginning of our London journey… and we can’t wait to take you with us.

If our story has ever made you smile, if our horses have ever touched your heart, or if you believe in the difference they make, please consider supporting our work by donating to our JustGiving page.

Your generosity doesn’t just help us reach more people. It helps us care for these incredible horses who give so much of themselves every single day. From their feed and farrier visits to veterinary care, enrichment and everything in between, your support allows them to continue changing lives, one gentle moment at a time.

From the bottom of our hearts… thank you for believing in them. 🤍🖤

The Greatest Privilege 🤍🖤

We really are the luckiest people in the world to spend our days alongside this extraordinary Hoofgang® of therapy horses.

Every morning we tell ourselves it couldn’t possibly be true that we could love them any more than we already do… and every single day they prove us wrong.

They inspire us with their quiet kindness, their gentle souls and the way they instinctively know when someone needs them most.

There is something truly magical about watching a person meet one of our horses for the very first time. You see shoulders soften. You see smiles appear. Sometimes you even see tears. They breathe in that unmistakable, comforting scent of a horse, and in an instant they’re carried back to treasured memories they thought had long since faded.

Then comes the warmth of a velvet-soft breath against their skin… and for just a moment, the world seems to stand still.

These horses don’t just change lives. They awaken memories, calm anxious minds, bring comfort to grieving hearts and remind people that kindness still exists in its purest form.

And for us… it is the greatest privilege to simply walk beside them.

If anyone ever asks who the real heroes are, we’ll always point to the Hoofgang®. They do the talking without ever saying a word. 🤍🐴
