⚡We are now running a Counselling Level 1 course.

Over four sessions a qualified tutor will teach you the skills and knowledge you need to do well as a counsellor.

Counselling Level 1 is a great addition to our CV and can teach you skills to help you support the wellbeing of others in your daily life.

⚠️ Bank holiday opening times and weather warning

It’s going to be hot the next few days, with temperatures getting up to 30 degrees in some areas.

Here is how you can enjoy the sunshine while keeping yourself and others safe

✅ Be aware of signs of heatstroke and heat exhaustion. Learn how to spot the signs and how to cool someone down here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/heat-exhaustion-heatstroke/

✅Keep your house cool by opening windows and doors in the morning and night, but closed for the rest of the day to stop hot air coming in.

✅ Keep curtains and blinds closed during the day so the sun doesn’t make your home hotter

✅ To keep cool at night, sleep with a damp cloth on your forehead or fill a hot water bottle with freezing water.

🌊The Wetter is Better Splash Pads at Morgan Jones Park, Caerphilly

Morgan Jones Park is a Green Flag award winning park that in the summer months lets rip their Wetter is Better jets – perfect for cooling down in the heat!

The park is also home to a café that gives back to the local community, as well as a wildflower meadow and a skate park.

🌳 Bute Park, Cardiff
