Hi Caerleon🙌🏻

We would like to say a massive thankyou to all competitors and spectators who came to the Tug Of War event last week! It was a fantastic day, although slightly hot🔥

We would also like to say a massive thanks to everyone who either sponsored us or assisted us in planning the event, these include
Gavin Lentle at GML scaffolding
Ponthir Sports & Community club
Ponthir Suzuki
Solar Medical & Chemical Ltd
Minstrels Caerleon
MJ Skips
Faisal at The Red Fort
P Gough Electricals
Goldcroft Inn Caerleon
Gus Wookey
Acorn (Synergie) Uk Limited
Cpl “H” Hennessy-our referee and our first aiders, thankfully not used very much.
(Apologies for anybody not tagged, FB won’t let us tag everybody- the joys of technology!)

The day was a great success and we raised over £2400 towards the Caerleon Christmas tree for this year🎄

You may not be aware that the Christmas tree in Caerleon is completely self funding. This is not cheap as we have to cover the cost of the tree, lights, insurance, power etc, if you would like to donate or sponsor the Christmas tree this year, you can do this via the link below or DM us for info. Again, a massive thankyou to everyone involved in the event, we have a great community❤️
