Hi Caerleon🙌🏻

We would like to say a massive thankyou to all competitors and spectators who came to the Tug Of War event last week! It was a fantastic day, although slightly hot🔥

The day was a great success and we raised over £2400 towards the Caerleon Christmas tree for this year🎄

You may not be aware that the Christmas tree in Caerleon is completely self funding. This is not cheap as we have to cover the cost of the tree, lights, insurance, power etc, if you would like to donate or sponsor the Christmas tree this year, you can do this via the link below or DM us for info. Again, a massive thankyou to everyone involved in the event, we have a great community❤️

The turn out was amazing, well done to all the teams that entered and a very special congrats to The Goldcroft Pub team for winning (again!)🥳

Wonder if anyone will be able to beat them next year? We’ll have to wait and see!

Today’s the day!🙌🏻

Head down to Caerleon common from 12pm for our annual tug of war event, it’s gonna be fantastic!☀️

Ps, remember your sun cream today guys, it’s gonna be a warm one!
Also, there’s no seating provided at the event, so if anybody wants to bring camping chairs etc they’re more than welcome🙌🏻

Preparation for Sundays Tug of War event is well underway! We just wanted to put out a post to thank Gavin G.M.L scaffolding for providing the scaffolding for our stage for the day! 🔨 We really appreciate your kindness!

We can’t thank you enough! Hope to see you all enjoying the day on Sunday ☀️

Only a few days left until our annual Tug of War event and it’s gonna be a great day!

It’s going to be warm Sunday, so come down and have a few drinks, some food and watch some quality entertainment🙌🏻

Stick around after for some live music starting around 5pm!

⭐️ Tug of War Sunday 24th May final details ⭐️

All funds raised will be going to the Caerleon Christmas tree 🎄

Team registration in Goldcroft Inn Caerleon beer garden at 11.30 am, please don’t be late🙌🏻

📍Event starts at 12 on the common!

📍Food stalls:
🍕 Farina pizza
🍔 Gourmet grazing (burgers & loaded fries)
☕️ Coffee and baked potatoes
🍦 Ice cream/waffles and milkshakes
🍬 RBL Sweet Stand

📍Bouncy castles and face painting for the kids!

📍Minstrels and The Goldcroft will have bars on the common for the day for refreshments 🍺

📍There will be a raffle on the day 💴

📍Toilets will be open in the town hall, Minstrels and The Goldcroft!

🎵 The The Ska Krows will be playing on the common shortly after the competition 🎵
