Applications for FEST grants 2025 are now OPEN!

Application forms are available by emailing: [email protected] or messenger. Or you can complete an online application on our website festgrants.wordpress.com, where there is also more information about the grants.

Two main types of grants are available – you apply for either a General grant or a sport/performing arts grant, but not both:
1. General grants : these are usually only awarded to young people studying for A’ levels or their equivalent, post-16 training, college and university courses, apprenticeships, equipment: please complete sections A, B and D of the application form.
2. Music, performing arts and sport : which cover eg the cost of instruments, equipment and lessons. There are three categories of grant: starter, intermediate and full/advanced levels.
NOTE: Grants are not given towards the cost of school uniform.
In 2024 General grants ranged from £65 for an A’ level student to £500 for a post graduate student.
Music, performing arts and sport grants ranged from £75 for shared lessons to £200 for a full/advanced grant.
