Amazon Creatives Programme - Completed It ✅

What a day!

We were thrilled to invite students who took part in our Amazon.co.uk Creatives Programme from Malone Integrated College, St Louise’s Comprehensive College and of course our host school St Dominic’s Grammar School, to present the portfolio’s they’ve been working on over the past number of weeks, to some of NI’s best in the creative industries!

The students worked incredibly hard, and it showed - the standard of skill and talent they showcased makes us so excited to see what they create in the future!

We couldn’t have done this without the support of Ben who steered this brilliant programme, and of course our wonderful panel of judges who gave us some of their free time, to both encourage, inspire and educate pupils on, providing valuable feedback on their projects, perspective from their journey into their creative roles and knowledge of the sector as a whole✨

Welcoming Emma-Jane Mooney!

What started as a hobby and a general love for social media has grown into a career and a business for Emma. She has build a client list of businesses across Northern Ireland, helping them grow their online presence through content creation, social media strategies, video content and creative campaigns.

Alongside this, she has built her own Wedding Content Creation business, Instant Memories NI, capturing behind-the-scenes moments from couples' wedding days and delivering the raw and edited all within 24 hours.

Emma is incredibly passionate about changing the perception of careers in social media and content creation. She wants to show that it can be more than a hobby, it's a fast-growing industry with incredible opportunities and the potential to earn a really good living. She highlights that there is so much more behind the scenes of this industry, from planning and strategy to filming, editing, managing clients and the day to day of running a business!

Emma's journey hasn't followed a traditional career path, highlighting the important lessons that, there isn't just one way to get into a career that you love and you don't necessarily need to follow the route everyone expects you to!

This is why she is the perfect addition to our judging panel, speaking the truth, the reality, and the excitement of the content creation and marketing industry ✨

Our Amazon Creative Pathways Programme is nearly at an end...but not before the very important Graduation Celebration!

This is an event that not only celebrates the time, effort and creativity invested by each student who took part, but it also gives them the opportunity to present their portfolio to local industry professionals, who have carved out successful, creative careers, allowing pupils to build upon the skills they have been developing over the past number of weeks but also get feedback from those within the industry, on the work they have produced, so that they can move forward with deeper insights on how to 'crack' into their creative career!

Thank you to Amazon for partnering with us to make this programme possible, we can't wait to see what the pupils have produced, and how this propels them into their ideal careers!

b4b Group Golf Day ⛳

We were honoured to play a small part in last weeks brilliant golf day, arranged by leading IT & telecommunications provider, b4b Group! The team at b4b Group arranged a wonderful day, inviting staff and clients along to get involved in a little healthy competition whilst socialising outside of the typical working environment, not the mention the fantastic fundraising that they did to support our organisation and the youth programmes we deliver across Northern Ireland. This helps us to reach more schools, more young people and offer more support to those who truly need it.

Thank you to all involved, it is so appreciated, and it was brilliant being a part of your day!
