We loved meeting the Three Little Pigs 🐷 at Twinkleboost today in Whitefield!

🐷 There were lots of different feelings in today's story. We loved singing about them, and even thinking about what colours our feelings might be!
🌳 The Pigs took us to play in the woods where they threw colourful leaves in the air. We threw our colourful parachute up and down too, it made us so happy!
🐺 Then we heard the Big Bad Wolf! We had fun howling with him, but the Pigs felt scared, so we played peekaboo to scare the Wolf away!
🏠 The Pigs needed somewhere cosy to warm up, so we helped them build some houses. We liked exploring the different materials - straw, wood and bricks!
⭐ The Pigs felt so calm in their houses, they lay down to sleep and gazed up at the stars. We looked at our colourful lights, they really made us smile and feel relaxed.
🫧 Oh no, the Wolf came back! He huffed and he puffed and he blew down two houses! But the house of bricks stayed put. He felt angry, so we helped him feel happy with a game of....BUBBLES!

Thank you to everyone for coming! We can't wait to see you next week, can you guess what the story will be....🥚🐣🦆🦢? We'll be having some water play next week, so be sure to bring some spare clothes!

We loved our adventure with Little Red Riding hood at Whitefield Children's Centre yesterday!

🍁 Little Red took us into the woods where we looked at the light through the leaves and all the colourful butterflies!
🐦‍⬛We could hear so many birds singing in the woods, tweet tweet tweet! We helped Little Red make some pinecone birdfeeders - We loved squidging the banana and sprinkling the oats.
🍰 Uh oh, the Big Bad Wolf ate Little Red's cakes for Grandma! We had so much fun helping her to make more, pouring, sprinkling and tasting!
🐺 We knock knock knocked on the door to Grandma's house but - oh no! The Wolf was there! We scared him away with lots and lots of....bubbles! 🫧

We look forward to another adventure next week! Can you guess what our story will be...🐷🐷🐷🏠🐺?

Earlier this week at our Twinkleboost session in Bury we pop-pop-popped out of the rabbit hole and hop-hop-hopped to follow a cheeky Peter Rabbit to Mr Mcregors allotment🥕

We listened to the wind chime and and pointed to our favourite veggies in the patch.

We chose our pumpkins and used our listening ears to learn about their shapes and sizes before taking an afternoon nap and practiced our snoring sounds 💤

When MrMcgregor came back we shook our bells and maracas to wake up Peter Rabbit and we ran with him back home to rabbit hole🐰

Tomorrow at 10:30am join our Speech Therapist Chelsey for a live story time with a communication focus on our main social media page TwinkleBoost CIO !

This week we will be focusing on encouraging listening with our little ones and answering any questions you may have☺️

Here at Twinkleboost we’re a small team of friendly faces who love what we do! ☺️

Our classes are very relaxed and everyone is always welcome. We always do everything we can to help you feel comfortable, from advising you on the best class to join, grabbing you an extra cushion to sit on round the mat or singing your little one’s favourite song to cheer them up💙

Never worry if you’re running late or need to leave early, if you need to pop out of the room to feed or change, or if you want to feed or change in the room that’s welcome too - whatever is best for you is best for us!

Where we can, we will always tailor our activities to each group, their interests and their abilities, so you and your child can have the best time possible. We’re happy to answer any questions you have and chat about anything you’re unsure of.

All our Twinkleboost families are so supportive of each other and we love to see our parents chatting and forming friendships through our classes too😄

Our class leaders love seeing your little ones grow week to week, and hope to see you at a class soon! Happy Halloween for tomorrow! 👻 Last week, our lovely families dressed up for Halloween.

We have lots of activities at our Twinkleboost classes to help support your child’s communication development and provide you both with a fun, engaging class!😄

Each week we follow a different story. We use themed puppets to help your little one engage and understand. There’s always lots of singing, and sometimes games like peekaboo or Simon Says! We love to use lots of exciting anticipation games too like ready…steady…jump!🙆‍♂

Each class features a different sensory activity to complement the story. Your little one will usually have their very own tray to fill with different materials to explore - from touching and feeling to listening to sounds. Sometimes they might be even something yummy to eat!😋

And of course, one thing our Twinkleboost classes are never without - lots and lots of…bubbles!!🫧

It’s half term this week and our Speech and Language Therapy Assistants are taking a little break but they’re excited to come back next week!

🎃 We had a spooktacular Halloween Twinkleboost adventure at Whitefield Children’s centre today! 👻

👦🏻👧🏼 We joined Hansel and Gretel to explore the enchanted woods!
🍂 We loved throwing the colourful autumn leaves in the air and watching them fall - 1, 2, 3 - wheee!
🫧 Uh oh, we got a bit lost! Hansel had a great idea to leave a trail of bubbles behind! Pop pop pop!
🍬 Then we found an amazing gingerbread house, covered in rainbow sprinkles! We loved decorating own yummy gingerbread too.
🧙‍♀️ Oh no! The Witch came home! We tried to scare her away with a game of ready, steady…peekaboo!
✨ Luckily she was a friendly witch, and invited us to her Halloween party! We played musical bumps in the night and danced til it was time to go home.

What a fun Halloween adventure! We can’t wait to see you all back after half term 🥰
