📣Announcement: Closure of Bridge to Comfort📣

Dear Friends and Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of our nonprofit organisation, Bridge to Comfort. This project was born out of passion and a desire to make a difference, helping individuals like Barry find support and comfort when they needed it most.

Unfortunately, as we continued our journey, we faced unforeseen financial challenges. The overhead costs, including storage, insurance, and accounting fees, have become unsustainable. Cleaning Rooms & Co has graciously supported us financially, but continuing in this manner is no longer feasible.

I extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has donated and supported our cause. Your contributions made a significant impact on the lives of many, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

The items we had in storage have found a new home with Newmarket Open Door an organisation that shares our values and mission.

We help by:
• Collecting good-quality furniture and essential household items
• Passing them directly to people who would otherwise go without
• Partnering with charities and community services to identify those in need

I’d like to introduce you to Bridge to Comfort, a charity based in Bury St Edmunds dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need. We provide furniture, bedding and essential household items, turning bare houses into welcoming homes. Bridge to Comfort

We’re inviting local businesses to join forces with us through donations (items or financial) or by sponsoring a setup for a household in need.
What your business can do:

• Donate stock (e.g., sofas, beds, kitchenware) you’re replacing
