The National Emergency Briefing is a rapidly growing public information programme to make sure that Parliament and the people are clearly and honestly briefed on the climate and nature crisis - an essential step in ensuring that our nation can act at the speed and scale we need.
This ground breaking briefing was held on the 27th November, at Westminster Central Hall, for more than 1,200 MPs, peers and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media. The event was opened by broadcaster Chris Packham, who introduced evidence-based briefings by leading UK experts on the risks that the crisis poses to the UK in terms of health, food security, national security and the economy.
Now The National Emergency Briefing (NEB) Team are taking the landmark briefing to the country, in the form of a public information film that is urgent, clear and watchable. It will include some of the content of the briefing itself, alongside additional personal interviews with our experts. The aim is for the film to be emotionally engaging rather than data-heavy.
