FoCUS Talk & Learn Session – Culture of Care

At this session, we’ll hear directly from Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust about Culture of Care — what it is, how it’s used, and an update on the project the Trust has been running including their Carers cafes

It is aimed at service users and carers who want to:

Learn more about the Culture of Care with speakers from The Meadows Epsom and Juniper Ward and their Carers cafes

Hear directly from the Trust about current work and developments

Ask questions in an open and supportive setting

Share your experiences of using mental health services in Surrey and North East Hampshire

Your voice matters. This is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and help shape conversations about mental health services in our area.

Wednesday 18th February at 5.30pm-6.30pm.

A quick reminder our next FoCUS online drop in session is tomorrow.

Open to anyone using adult NHS mental health services in Surrey and North East Hampshire, either as a service user or a carer of someone using services.

These are one to one sessions with the support team and we're keen to hear what’s working well, what could be done better, and anything else you’d like to share. It’s a great chance to chat informally with the FoCUS team whether you have feedback, questions, or simply want to raise something that might feel easier to discuss outside of a formal meeting. We really encourage anyone to join us in this welcoming space to share and be heard. If you've wondered what FoCUS is and want to get involved it's also an opportunity to speak to us.

You can join at any time in the hour window to suit you. Please note, you may need to wait in the virtual waiting room while we support others but we will let you in as soon as possible. For this reason, we may also need to limit time for each person to 10 minutes or arrange a follow-up call if needed.

This is not a group meeting. You will be held in the zoom waiting room and will be let in individually based on first come first served. It is a safe space to share your experiences.

This is open to anyone that has used NHS mental health services for adults in Surrey or North East Hampshire including Adult Mental Health services, Drug and Alcohol services, Adult Learning Disability services, Older Adult services, Adult Eating Disorder services. We want to hear what works and what could have been better.
