Elvis has left the building …..ok Emmaus BUT Rochdale you have been amazing!

The money from the purchases you made in our shop has:
Provided 93 people with a room and their first step out of homelessness
Seen 37 people gain full time employment
Delivered 265 qualifications
Supported 68 people into their own home
And finally Taken people off our streets!

Thankyou isn’t enough - you deserve more and if you’re ever in Preston (visit us at Fishergate Centre - former Debenhams) …maybe one day we will be back in Rochdale ….

💔 It's with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our charity store after six years of serving people in Rochdale. Thanks to everyone who has shopped with us in support of our Emmaus homelessness charity.

A special shout out to Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre. We're grateful our social enterprise has been able to have been part of the town centre.

‼️ FREE FURNITURE COLLECTIONS SERVICE‼️

Upgraded your home and bought new electricals over the holidays? Your local Emmaus homelessness charity can collect your used goods for free!

Remember we can PAT test used electrical items we reuse in our charity shop. We can also help pick up those heavier items you would like taken away. *Items in good saleable condition and electricals in working order only please.

🚛 🛋️ Do you have furniture you no longer need? Or might one of your Facebook friends be having a clear out?

Our Emmaus homelessness charity is appealing for donations of unwanted furniture that we can pick up for free!

All goods will be passed on to help raise the funds we need to sustain our community home for people with experience of homelessness. Help Emmaus help people to build back by giving your furniture for good.

📻 There's new ambassador at Emmaus!

Homelessness campaigner and BBC Radio 2 quizmaster, Jay Flynn, will be working with the many different Emmaus communities and charity shops across the UK 👇

Jay was evening host at the Emmaus National Assembly in October where he announced his commitment to supporting Emmaus as much as he could, and has told BBC Radio 2 listeners of his partnership.
