On Thursday, I was invited to the Rotary Club of Burnham-on-Sea as part of their reward evening.

I had the opportunity to give a speech about what the World Scout Jamboree means to me and the amazing opportunities it offers young people from all around the world.

A huge thank you to everyone at the Rotary Club for their very generous donation towards my WSJ2027 journey. Your support really does make a difference!

9 sleeps to go until I take on my sponsored abseil challenge! 😬🧗‍♂️

On Thursday 26th June, I'll be abseiling down Uphill Quarry alongside 11 other Scouts who are heading overseas in 2027. We're all raising money to help get us one step closer to our seats on the coach for the World Scout Jamboree!

Oliver will be travelling to Poland for the World Scout Jamboree as part of the Somerset contingent, while Ethan and Cameron will be heading to Kandersteg, Switzerland with SomerTrek.

To help fund their adventures, they are launching a Virtual Balloon Race starting at 6am on Friday 8th August — perfectly timed with the famous morning launch at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta!
Their balloons will race across Europe, flying “from Bristol to Poland via Kandersteg”, with the race finishing on Friday 15th August at 6pm.

🎈 Balloons cost just £4 each

I’m doing it to help raise funds to get me to the World Scout Jamboree 2027 in Poland 🇵🇱 — an amazing opportunity to meet Scouts from all over the world and take part in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure 🌍
