Help shape a future walking, wheeling, and cycling route between Thame and Haddenham🚶🏾‍♂️ 🛴 🚲

Residents and visitors are being invited to have their say in a survey on options for a walking, wheeling, and cycling route between Thame and Haddenham, including connections to Haddenham and Thame Parkway station.

Good news? Anecdotally at least, Chiltern's performance had deteriorated significantly over the past couple of years. At least this will bring certainty. And perhaps under public control they will play a more active role in supporting the Haddenham-Thame Greenway.

New signing announced: Chiltern Railways 📣🚆

We’ve brought Chiltern’s services back into public ownership, helping to deliver improvements for passenger journeys.

Under public ownership, Chiltern are set to run 25 extra daily services from December. That’s 10,000 more seats each weekday - more than the current capacity of Adams Park, home of Wycombe Wanderers.

An opportunity to highlight the need for the Haddenham-Thame Greenway. It's a very short consultation.

There is still time to share your view on what our new Joint Local Plan should include and how we should approach future engagement going forward.

A local plan sets out how development will be planned and delivered over time to meet the current and future needs of people living and working in a particular area. It guides where development should go (and where is shouldn’t) including new housing and employment, as well as identifying the supporting infrastructure needed.

Well worth signing

Women have the right to move freely.

But often, busy traffic, harassment and unsafe routes stand in the way. Too often, women are left feeling that the streets they ride on are ‘Not Designed For Me’.

This October, the UK will light up with glow rides, calling for safer streets for women. Because when it’s safer for women, it’s safer for everyone.

We’ve seen what’s possible in Greater Manchester, now we need that same ambition for women across the country.
