Mobivet South Wales - Home Visit Vets & Veterinary Practice Mobivet are indeed miracle workers. With Martha's recent accident taking her off the road temporarily. Contingency plans were put in place to make sure they continued services and now Mavis has joined the fleet whilst Martha is fixed to make sure its business as usual. We are proud to be working with such a forward thinking Veterinary Practice. Welcome Mavis

💙🚐 A little update from us…

As many of you know, our beloved mobile theatre Martha was recently involved in a road traffic accident and has had to take a trip to the “van hospital” for some much-needed TLC. Thankfully no one was hurt – and we’re so grateful for that.

But we couldn’t bear the thought of pausing our work, so we’re delighted to introduce you to Mavis! Our wonderful temporary replacement! Thanks to her, we can continue bringing our services to you while Martha recovers.

Martha should be back on the road in around 4 weeks, and we can’t wait to have her home. Until then, Mavis will be helping us keep the show on the road.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness and ongoing support 💙

Sadly, the wonderful Martha has been involved in an accident and is out of play until she can be fixed. We are glad to hear that nobody was hurt and hopefully Martha will make a full recovery with the mechanics and be back on the road to help more pets in the future. In the meantime we are working closely with Mobivet to ensure all booked cat neuters still go ahead.

💔 Heartbreaking News 💔

Yesterday, our beloved mobile theatre Martha was sadly involved in a road traffic accident in Aberdare. Thankfully, everyone is safe, including our incredible team member, and the incident was through no fault of theirs or ours.

We are absolutely heartbroken. Martha has been a lifeline for so many, helping us bring vital veterinary care to communities in Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, the Rhondda Valleys, and Port Talbot.

💬 If you’re booked in on Martha and haven’t heard from us yet, please don’t panic. We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure we continue our services. We will be in touch as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we are awaiting a replacement hire vehicle so we can keep supporting the animals and people who rely on us.

🙏 If you have, or know of, anything that could help, please contact us:
📧 [email protected]

Thank you for your patience, kindness, and support during this incredibly difficult time. We are determined to carry on, with your help. 🐾❤️

Neutering Your Cat: A Loving and Responsible Choice

Neutering your cat is one of the most important steps you can take as a responsible pet owner. It’s not just about preventing unwanted litters, it’s about protecting your cat’s health and wellbeing, and making a positive difference in your community.

Neutered cats are less likely to roam, reducing their risk of getting lost or injured. They’re also less prone to certain cancers and infections, such as uterine infections in females and testicular cancer in males. Neutering can also help reduce spraying, aggression, and other stress-related behaviours, making for a calmer, happier pet.

But the benefits don’t stop there. By neutering your cat, you’re helping to reduce the number of stray and abandoned animals, easing the burden on rescue centres and shelters. It’s a compassionate choice that supports the wider community and helps create a safer, kinder world for all animals.

If you’ve already taken this step, thank you. You’re doing the very best for your cat, and that’s something to feel genuinely proud of. Responsible pet ownership starts with love, and neutering is a powerful way to show it.

We’d like to apologise for the delay in getting back to everyone. As this is a brand new project, we’ve had a few teething issues behind the scenes.

The good news is, we’re getting back on track and expect to start calling people again from tomorrow. Thank you so much for your understanding and support as we get things up and running! 🐾
