Join us for our next fundraising event for The Brig Inn refurbishment project:

🎉 Family Card Bingo Night
📍 Brydekirk Village Hall
📅 Friday 12th June
🕖 7pm

💷 £5 adults
💷 £3 children

This event last year was a huge success, and we can’t wait to do it all again! 🎉

There’ll also be:
🎟 Raffle prizes
🍬 Tuck shop with snacks & soft drinks
🍻 Bring your own booze

A fun night for all the family while helping us raise funds to get The Brig back open for the community ❤️

Big shout out to our curry queens, Evie and Isobel for rustling up a taste sensation last night in the form of Chickpea and Spinach curry, a mild Bangladesh style chicken curry and a spicy little number for those of you who like a little heat.
Teamed with basmati rice, naan bread and yoghurt and coriander garnish, it really was a treat for all.

Thank you ladies, you did us proud.

👀 So the final results of Quiz Night from the 13 teams who took part were as follows;
In joint 4th place were
Quizzie Rascals, The Lancashire Langtrees and The Mavericks.
In joint 3rd place were
The Plymouth Hoe's and As Bright as a Bat's Cave.
In 2nd place 'Us' just 3 points behind the winners 😍
And our winners of the cash prize were 🎉 Les Quizerables🎉pictured.

Congratulations to you all.
There was only 6 points in it between fourth place and first place, it was tight for sure!
An excellent wealth of knowledge all round and a good laugh along the way.

We cannot thank you wonderful lot enough, for your support last night at our first Quiz and Curry night.

Feedback was fantastic about the delicious food and the buzz in the village hall was awesome too.

Everyone who came really enjoyed the evening and the huge raffle went down a treat.

We'll post the winning teams later but suffice to say a great time was had by all.

Our thanks to Brydekirk Village Hall for providing a well stocked bar and allowing us to hire their beautiful hall for the event.

We must do this again sometime 👍

For those of you who missed us last night on STV, here's our wee addition to the growing trend of community buy outs. Evie is always such a great spokesperson for our cause 👍
We only got notified minutes before it was on so apologies for not letting you guys know sooner.

Have you thought about how you want your community space to work for you?
A weekly craft and chat group, maybe?
A monthly book club?
A fortnightly Mum and baby meet up?
Anyone will be able to book the space for social groups once we're up and running so get your thinking caps on.
